Paul Toda

POSTED Nov 05, 2022

Paul reviews the play of his student who recently committed to becoming a professional poker player by abandoning his IT job. The action unfolds across four $0.25/$0.50 zoom tables and Paul seeks to plug any leaks in hero's game while putting special focus on his HUD usage.

When it comes to zoom live sessions 2 table at most is best. For reviews and the way you do it with the constant pausing I think 4 tables is ok but 3 could be easier. Some other coaches let the footage run and then 2 or maybe 3 tables max is ok.

8:05 table 1 do we fold all naked overprs? What do we need to call this lead when we hold an overpr? I would say at least a heart or bdfd.

10:42 table 3 qq42 will you open this hand if folded to or should it be double suited?

16:25 table 2 how should opponent play his hand? Should he be folding here?

28:50 table 1 with a diamond can you cbet?

34:56 table 1 if our ace was suited do we call from the sb?

35:22 table 2 should we ever fold any double suited hand sb vs bb?

You said at 50bb we should not have a calling rng from the sb. Do we have a call rng if we are closer to 100bb?

Thanks!
