Have watched just first 27 minutes, but 4th hand and hearing 4th time "I don't like my play at all" made me laugh out loud :D That's exactly how my Sunday tournaments look like when playing early stages at million hours long mtts. No need to wake up yet... Just cruising first 4-5 hours and then it's important to start playing well :D
My general attitude for video making is to be honest both with the samples of hands I’m showing out of my own game and with the analysis itself. This case there were a bunch of hands I didn’t like in hindsight.
I don’t like the idea of portraying to the general public that’s it’s just a bunch of super heroes who make the big money by cherry picking my hhs or samples of hands for analysis. I perceive my honesty as strength and my idea behind it as far as video making goes is that mindset wise the average viewer can identify and see that it’s ok (and necessary) to make mistakes or take risks on reads that lead to plays that might look poorly (two different things yet connected, as that mindset that is not afraid of mistakes and humiliation is the one who will gain more in the long run).
I understand that this can be perceived as weakness. It is not, but I’m failing in the video making if my intentions aren’t met.
I'm definitely not seeing that as a weakness and didn't mean anything negative by my comment. There was just, accidentally, I guess, my own early stages Sunday-feeling captured so well it made me laugh ;-) ..and of course it's totally understandable no one plays every hand perfectly every time, especially when probably having lots of tables at the time and being in the beginning hopefully a very long session. I like your videos a lot and know you are a great mtt-player =)
