When thinking on the next better hand and next worse hand it is not that clear what is the correct answer to those questions. On the pre-flop stage I guess it’s not that hard but on the flop and on the turn it’s more complex to do that. Regarding the example with the K8 vs K9, I wouldn’t say that K9 is slightly better than K8 due to the additional straight draw (as mentioned), I guess the next best hand relative to K8 might be A2o. It is superior over K8 but K8 has two ways of improving upon A2 and A2 is naked of additional non-pair draws.
My point is that this approach is difficult to use on the flop and turn, on the pre-flop stage and the river it might be more valuable.

Just want to make the comment that I think this type of video can be very useful. It can really be helpful with the thought process during the game. I feel like my thought process is decent away from the table, but I need a little more assistance under the pressure of the contest to think about poker in the right way. This is useful.
