Ty Owen, I have never used PIO so found the review of SIMS very interesting. I fell I have learnt something I can use in the small stakes tourneys I play
Very interesting video Owen.
Given that most of the recreational players tend to c-bet an Ace high board (on MTT), do you think one should be able to get away with raising their c-bets a bit more often than what GTO dictates?
I find it very interesting that the sets should be almost always checked regardless of the draws the flop has.
Hi Yogo. It really depends on the board texture. AKx, AQx will probably not be great boards to raise on since you lack the AK, AQ, AA, KK and QQ combos to be able to represent nutted hands. These boards will usually play better as a float if trying to attack this leak. If you have nutted hands in your range say on something like a A87 board then raising might be ok with some hands since you now have 77, 88 and A7s, A8s etc. Just always make sure to think the spot through logically.
Awesome videos on OOP scenarios, Owen. Making SRP OOP a focus of study this week and this video and Part 1 are some of the best training content I've found yet. Curious if you plan to continue with videos on other board textures OOP in the future?
