Welcome to RIO! A lot to take in in this one.

7:00 when you xr a hand like the second hand with so much going for it, if we get reraised are we calling?

21:00 kkq2 if you do lead would you look to barrel off often?

Same with a775.

Thanks!

Hi, thank you glad you enjoyed!!
Remember these are all xr bluffs so any hand that raises will always fold vs a reraise at 100bb or more. Some of these hands are painful to xr and then fold but if you want to be aggresive and find all the correct xr bluffs you will have to get used to these high equity xr folds just like with the weak wraps. Remember vs the 3b range of the opponent these hands all have very low equity. If you are playing a super whale who you think could just jam a dry OP like aa45 for exmaple i would advise to not xr in the first place howverr this is a rare exception most people will be 3betting hands like top2+sds/ sets/ nut wraps and pairs etc which all have us in really bad shape.
Yes definitely on the 954 board since we can rep all the striaghts so barrleing aggressively when we turn the SDBs is the way to go. Things are a bit more dicey on baords like qj7 since on cards like the T/A we would want to check most of our range as all our value leads on the flops like top 2 and sets hate these turns and will have very low equity often. Therefore we are mostly hoping are extrme blockers take it down on the flop and then we are often slowing down on turns even with the perfect blockers while we can still delay bluff rivers or even improve. Theres a good chance of turn going xx since our good blockers should stop them stabing and then we can bluff rivers. We can also xr turns vs a bet if we turn the perefct blockers with a bdfd for exmaple (kkq2 could xr tjrn on qj7t if we turn a fd) we can make him bet fold lower striaghts or his aa blockers for example (all these ideas will be covered in detail when we cover leading fully)

Hi Ollie welcome to RIO , I am really glad I found this!! I have been trying to think of a way to implement such an idea, and if I read your comment correct we will be able to get access to excel work. This is very generous and greatly appreciate :D I will certainly be following!!!

Hi thank you for nice words. I will be releasing an excel game tree linked to everything we do in the lessons which will get updated whenever i finish a topic with the new information

Hey Ollie @ around 20:13 QJ7r “future blocker” , I like using these hands as x/c with no leads. Honestly I have not worked too much on leading ranges because I like keeping strategy as simple as possible. But I like having these future blockers to analyze turn/river and potentially
Bet bet on certain runouts. I think it puts
Us in good position when Villan checks back flop leaving him capped … should probally work on implementing this leading range would be interesting to see how much rb it cost a strategy .
Any way great video again just finished it now and looking forward to next one.

Sure, X'calling is an ok play but its not like we can credibly lead on a T or an Ax meaning even when we turn good blockers we still end up X'folding. People typically merge bet often too so often we get denied the ability to use these blockers on the river often. Leading therefore with the great blockers and trying to take the pot down immediately is therefore often the best play.
If you have not built a leading range yet then dont worry X'calling will be fine however when i cover leading fully in the next topic after doing "turns after Xr'ing" you will see how powerful it can be
