very excited to see another serie from you!

i enjoyed the video but me personally would like to hear you commenting your decisions rather than other things. ofcourse you can do both but in my opinion it's very interesting to hear your thoughts on different hands. for example: at 1:50 you were raise calling A2o from the SB. Is that standard? To me it seems like a spot were you could just shove or actually raise fold against therookieqq types :)?

13:00, were you raisecalling with JTs?

34:30 (A5s), what's ur range to get it in here vs this player? i probably never would raise call a low ace here but that could be a leak in my game? if i were to r/c i would make it a bit bigger rather than an induce bet.

34:30 (33s), again, a play i probably never would do. i would go with 66+, maybe 55, and again, that could be a leak in my game. but don't you feel that there are other better spots where you can gain chips or is this a really good spot?

looking forward to part2!

Thanks mate, please accept my apologies for not getting back on these questions.

1:50 A2 is definitely thin. It's quite possible r/f is best vs some players although most everyone seems to be extremely shove happy against me :). I don't feel great about it, had the same spot come up today actually. I prefer making a standard raise and assessing reshove ranges in the moment unless I'm up against a stubborn, call-happy opponent, in which case I'd prefer either a limp-shove, limp-fold, or yes possibly an open shove as this is a solid candidate of hand to open shove with, if you're ever going to. I don't like incorporating much of that into my game as a general rule. Most regs though are pretty fit-or-fold so raise and evaluate feels sensible as a standard.

13:00 Yes I would have definitely been priced in and think this is a good play unless I had a read that the button would never steal in that spot.

34:30 A5s - Not sure of an exact range but this is obviously towards the bottom of it. The alternatives to 3betting suck, and I feel the math supports a 3b/call. It's made easier by my reputation and the fact that his 4bet shoving range will be wider than against basically anyone else. With a tight image, depending on the exact odds, 3bet/folding might become a good option at around this stack depth and deeper. But obviously if you're making a habit of such 3b steals you'll no longer have a tight image!

34:30 33 - Yes very skinny play. Probably a fold would be advised I agree, I think I explained what I was thinking pretty clearly, and this could be solved pretty quickly with Pokerstove. Dubious, I'd go with 44+ if I had my time over as the sb is definitely shoving any Ax. What you're saying about small edges and high variance is spot on, I feel like with 44 and better there's enough equity in it for it to be worth it though.

Like the rambling about Sundays a lot. And replay a "live session" is my favorite. Could pause it to discuss some of the less std/marginal spots.

Made a post on some of the Sunday issues you discuss, would appreciate if you gave some thought.

Keep the good videos coming

Yeah, this format is def my favorite too. Very excited to see you especially "at work", picking your spots as they come :)

I think 6tables is optimal for this kinda thing, that you can really clearly see whats going on at every table, rather than autopiloting too many.

Of course a few backup tables in the sake of the video wouldnt hurt, in case the inevitable happens ;)

Anyways, keep up the good work & GL in the SCOOP!

Thanks for the replies guys, there'll be more parts to come soon. Apologies they haven't come sooner, have had some technical issues.

at 5:19 with KJ s I am always open shoving there instead of raise calling with 14 bbs can you let me know a little of your thought process there please?

How did this video not get more love?! I've seen a lot of poker videos over the years, and yours are simply top top notch. I very much appreciate how you take the time to share your thoughts on some of the intangible sort of aspects of poker: attitude, mindset, preparation, health. Those things are a huge part of one's success in poker (most pursuits) yet they get a disproportionately small about of the discussion. Thank you.
