thought you played really well in this video. with the 86hh hand @41:00 that would probably be the only combo that i would be pure jamming on the turn. cos if i have a set of 8s/6s then i am not worried about any river, and obviously a hand like Qx is basically just a bluff catcher vs his triple range (bar KQ which can chop for value and maybe beat QJ). i have seen a combo like KQ jam here sometimes ott in 3bet pots at 6max, btn vs blinds. it's kind of an equity denial play vs draws and it's a combo that is never folding otr so we don't mind just jamming and punishing his bet/folds with open enders etc. it can chop for value though, so doesn't have terrible equity when called (so you wouldn't wanna jam weak Qx cos then when you are called you are prob drawing dead). usually PIO's turn jams in 3bet pots are kinda merges, so not the nuts like a set or strong two pair but often a strong top pair or weak bottom two pair that doesn't want to get sucked out otr. so with that kind of logic i would have though 86 would like to jam here and deny equity from all of his straight draws, whilst getting called by all Qx+ and then also avoiding getting sucked out otr like this. not being results oriented either cos ott i was just thinking pure jam in my mind. i just don't see a huge incentive to slow play a hand like this when we can instead use our Qx to call down as bluff catchers and then our sets/top 2 pairs etc as traps, and he is never bet/folding any value hand ott either.
i ran the sim and there are no turn raises from IP, so guess this is more of a 6max play as opposed to a HU one. probably because the ranges are much wider here (especially as the IP caller) so you would rather just call to protect your range and allow OOP to bluff off. as 86 isn't even folding on a Qx river (literally the worst river in the deck for it) then i guess it has no reason to jam ott.
Thank you very much for the kind words and for such a detailed comment! I also think that I played my A-Game during this series which is always nice :)
Really appreciate your insights on the hand and the comparison with 6 max.

These were pretty much my thoughts in game. It felt like my range just wanted to continue by calling since most of his bluffs would either be drawing dead or have quite poor equity vs my strong hands that could consider shoving for value OTT.
Great video. Love the “losing is part of the game” pop up plz keep stuff like that. I think as a heads up player you have a lot to offer from the mental side of things in poker
Thank you so much, will do! It felt a little bit embarrassing when it popped up on the footage even though I think that it really helps to just focus on the quality of our decisions and not the results of them. I will definitely recommend using the feature to anyone.
It was so great yesterday because I had just lost a big amount and watched your video mid session and seeing that really helped me play well for the rest of the day
I've been only checking my results once a month for a little bit over 2 years now and I couldn't recommend it more. It has drastically improved my performance at the tables as well as my life in general.

Really nice content, always enjoy your thinking process, especially not being a HU player. Keep it up, thanks! :)
Thanks a lot! Really glad to hear that you enjoy my content even as a non HU player :)
