23min T#2 "Don't waste time on things you can't control." You do this for all your all ins? Is it only when there is another card to come?

Time and pot odds shown top left of each table, what is the # below pot odds? Also the # next to your hole cards appears to be RNG, but shows a lot of 1, 2, or 3 pretty often.

Hey RunItTw1ce!

"Don't waste time on things you can't control"

Yeah, this pops up every single time that I go all-in.

what is the # below pot odds? Also the # next to your hole cards appears to be RNG, but shows a lot of 1, 2, or 3 pretty often.

The # below pot odds is the Bluff Equity (% of times that our bluff has to work to make money for each betsize)

The # next to my hole cards is a 1 to 4 RNG that I use to randomize some of my postflop decisions.

Nice video!

You mentioned how he is 3betting too often. Do you not adjust vs his strategy and start to 4bet jam some hands that would typically call, or expand your 4bet/call off range? I node locked a counter strategy for playing against players that 3bet the sb too often in 6m (which happens relatively often) and there is a ton of jamming and expansion of 4bet/call off range.

For example JTs @23:30 actually seems like a pretty decent combo to 4bet rip. You get a bunch of better hands to fold (such as A/K highs) and retain good equity even when called. Effectively there is a bunch of dead money in the pot when he 3bets too wide, so to me it makes sense to counter exploit these frequency errors.

In mtt's these broadway suited combo's can re jam vs rfi for 40bb cos they get a bunch of better hands to fold and have good equity when called. If you re jam a hand like JTs for 40bb then the pfr has to fold hands like ATo, AJo, KQo, KJo, QJo etc and even some weaker pocket pairs. Where as a hand like KQs would typically just call or 3bet small to keep in weaker Kx (and also cos it doesn't fold out as many stronger combos).

Thanks mate, glad you liked it!

Very cool insights, appreciate that you took the time to share them with us.

I do indeed adjust vs this strategy. I also did some nodelock work regarding this but I normally don't use the JTs type hands that perform very nicely as calls and pull my 4B bluffs from a different region of hands.
