Nuno Alvarez aka CheckRais3r selects four of the most interesting hands he currently encountered at $1,000 and $2,000 NL and takes a deep dive into his own thought process at the time as well as the GTO solutions to improve the understanding of these spots.

Totally agree on the fact that most midstakes players will not find the non natural bluffs ott, in hu as in sh as well. So they will lack bluffs otr, so we can exploititavely overfold on this river for instance, even with this J8 combo. i mean they should combine the bluff with Qx ott, and bet those Qx otr, and they will not have those 7x combos. So i guess our main difficulty is finally to define more accurately ours opponents, especially at limits between midstakes and highstakes.

Completely agree with you. In these kind of spots I think it just comes down to how capable our opponents are so we can pretty much entirely base our decision on what we think about that.
