Starting Hand Categories and Dealt Frequencies:
2:22-10:56 = Rolled Up & 3-Flush
10:57-14:43 = Split Pairs & Buried Pairs (2-Flush & Rainbow)
14:44-20:49= Straight Draws (2-F & R)
20:50-23:29 = No Pair or Straight Draw (2-F & R)
23:30-33:31 = High/Low Combos of Straight Draws (2-F & R)
33:32-35:34 = Weak Aces (2-F & R)

35:35-End = Charts! (Visual Summary of Hand Strengths)

I think my next Stud 8 video will cover 4th-5th together. The plan is to essentially batch the two streets, look at some case studies, and discuss 4th-5th 'runout distributions' and how the betting will go. Address the peel-or-fold question in different contexts, and talk about thresholds for certain decisions (call 4th planning to continue if X, bet 4th planning to bet again if Y). I think after that for a third video I would like to jump to interesting 5th/6th spots, particularly multiway with at least 2 players with two-way hands.

No guarantees when these will come out, but that's what I anticipate for the next two Stud 8.

Great video! With very few strongly math-oriented stud8 video available, I'd love to see coming next series.

BTW, 51c2=51*50/2=1275 right? In the video you calculated everything using 1225 instead of 1275. Im worried if that will change every figure in this video.

People brand new to this might have a hard time following along due to the dry, low and fast talking. There’s a good deal assumed by the speaker here.
