With blinds at 250/500 and a nearly 85BB stack, Nico Villa-Lobos aka nicofellow looks to turn up the pressure on his table where only one player has over half as many chips as him.

Hello thx for the content

4:00 nut flush draw: IP ATss 324ssx with one guy all in Pre.
I don't understand why checking back here is this bad. You said you prefer to bet ATss , and prefer checking JTss . I would do the opposite.
I think we win more money checking here because we usually have the best hand with A high and we don't mind giving him free outs since some of his outs give us nut flush. What do you think about this?

thanks for your comment! so, I understand your point and actually agree with it in some part. The thing is that the ATs we have a hand strong enough to get it in or even just call if the blind check raise. With JTs Im not sure if we can call a check raise, specially because he can be dominating our flushdraw when he is semi bluffing. I think I prefer realize my equity with the JTs, and also disguise it when we hit the flush, since I would expect him to think that we bet our fds. But your comment makes a lot of sense, and can be a different approach to this situation. I think I would correct myself in the video when I say "its not good to xbh with ATs" haha cheers!

Can we shove 98s with flush draw over c/r and call on flop? I know we are in bad shape against a higher flush draw and we don't represent much. However, they both don't look that strong from the action.

hmm I think it would be a little too much bro. We still have 50bbs and plenty of game ahead. But I really agree with you when you said they dont look really strong haha

35:00 I agree with your read when you say maybe you should fold vs a possible dominating draw in a spot that you have your read but are not totaly sure about it.
Now lets say you have KQs (nut flush draw), would you act on your read that they could be both weak and shove with your better draw? I tend to just call in a board Axx because I always get the feeling that most inexperienced players tend not to fold in this boards their top pair and I don't have enough fold EQ. But maybe I'm playing it wrong and should embrace a more variance heavy line in this type of spots. What do you think?

Keep up the good work!

thanks bro! I didnt review my comment during the hand, but I couldnt agree more with you regarding the KQs. I would just call with the nfd there. 1) because I have good odds to do it. 2) I keep the worst draws in the hand. 3) because I agree with you that there is not too much fold equity in those A high boards.
