Hi nicolau. Nice video, I like your thinking process, especially building/dissecting villain's range!
At 1:00 AJo- I ageee with most of your explanation, but imo on the river we should be thinking about calling. OTT we capped our range, so I actually like villian's bigger sizings atacking our capped range. I think besides his value if he is decent he may have a few bluffs e.g. T9-KQ of diamonds, so on the river we need to bluffcatch a few and given our range I think AJ without a diamond is on the top of our range and good bluffcatching candidate.
Thanks.
Hello thx for the vid. Interesting hands. I Like your style.
First hand the AJ , interesting line checking OTT , that the kind of spot I would have almost always 2barrel. Do you think this is a mistake from me?
As played I would have fold also but ,when we check OTT, our hand seems very week. That's a good bluffing spot for Villain. But what bluffs? The only bluffs I see are his floats on the flop : 8Ts, 9Ts , JTs,J9s QTs, QJs, KTs,KJs ,KQs.
28:43 3bet pot A3s cbet on ATQ that's the kind of spot I always check to control pot but now I see merits betting here. If turns is a brick Are we 2barreling or controlling pot? I think we have maximum 2 streets of value.
On 18:00 don't you think it is better to check back the turn? He has a lot of pocket pairs, and hands like KQs, QJs with bd fd that might call our c-bet and when we bet this turn we are narrowing our range to mostly value. The other reason is we have a lot more Ax in our range and it's not like we are going to double barrel TT or KQ (I assume?). By checking we allow him to bluff the river and especially I don't like this 3/4 sizing it kinda makes no sense to me on this texture, we don't need protection and kinda only scare him off the pot + from his point of view, we must assume he still might have some 9x in his calling BB range otf so we wouldn't want to inflate the pot that much with our bluffs. (I hope you get what I mean :D)
On the last hand, I think you kinda give away with this flop bet. I agree with the reasons you said, that he must have some sort of mediocre value, however, again, if you didn't have an Ace or set, would you bet on that flop, given he is perceived to have some Aces in his range when 3-betting you, you'd most likely check hand like QJ or KQ or 88 or etc. I think exploitatively it's better to check back and under rep our hand, given that we are in position as well.
r u assuming his calling flop with all this KQ, QJ ... on the Axx ... and low pocket pairs ??? against UTG range ??? why ? i dont get ... make much more sense he HAS an ace...
In the beginning of the video you talk about the AJo (UTG) and how you prefer to open maybe 98s. I would say for the most part I agree, but is it a consideration for you, on that decision, the stakes you are playing or the players you have at the table? Lets say, do you open AJo in a 11$ and not in a 109$? Or do you fold with a bunch of regs behind but open with 4/5 amateurs players (with tipical 40/10 Stats) ? Or do you think just the pure value of the hand and your position is enough for you to take your decision?
Min 33 with the A6s, you talk about your SB strategy and how you have 100% 3Bet strategy for some hands. For the most part I agree and I employ that strategy too. Now my question is: Do you think balance is important in this kind of spots or you don't mind to have a more caped calling range in the SB when you decide to just flat call? Especially with >75BB in Mtt, I tend to be more unbalenced and my calling range will me caped for the most part (tight and very playable, but capped) and only when I get down to <30BB, I start to mix some AA or KK traps with some agressive BB behind. Do you think balence is overvalued in Mtt or you think it should be a concern in this type of SB strategy decisions?

Hi Nicolau, great video!
