hi, good video.

12:00 display card removal

17:40 why u say  u have a2s in ur range, especially with 3 regulars behind?

Parker Muir 11 years ago

Thanks.

Yeah will do. The equity calc should still take it into account though.

You're right A2s would be a pretty loose flat there and I probably don't make it, but it's not unthinkable.

1st hand in the video, u talk about him not checking any value hands and just bettiing all his nutted hands. Is this a player based assumption or do u think he shouldnt check any value hands.? it seems to me that if u jam ur entire value range u become pretty exploitable , given how many hands that u bet turn with are going to have to check this river.

It was a an assumption I had made when playing the hand (that didn't hold true) but yeah I do think that he should definitely check some value hands and so I thought his check with Jx was good.

I agree that shoving all of my range becomes too exploitable in my position, and so my final conclusion was to check down T8 and become more selective with which hands I am turning into a bluff.

The 44 hand, You mention that you would consider CC flop and CR turn if the turn was an Ace. What hands would you do this with as a bluff?

Parker Muir 11 years ago

There aren't many, but they would be something like Kd8x. It's possible that it is too hard to create good check-raising range on an A turn though and thus I should just continue check calling.

66 hand: If faced with a bet what do you think about jamming? If river is a card below T what is your play when faced with check and with bet? What about J?

If faced with a bet what do you think about jamming?

Jamming the river over a bet wouldn't be terrible, probably works best on a Q or a J so that you can also have top two in your value range. The reason I don't do it on many river cards though is because he doesn't have very many bluffs in his range to go 3 barrels on this board runout.

If river is a card below T what is your play when faced with check and with bet? What about J?

If the river was a 3,4,5 I would probably check behind. I think 8-Q are all good enough to jam though.
