I don't think there was a way out of that hand, not at least on the turn, except if the other jack appears on the turn. I think is verly likely paul would call any turn, and in a heavy bet on the river being a king, ace, queen, he might consider fold, giving the villain credit for big pair on hand and we only having trips...but only against big bet. However if the guy would make half size pot bet on the river or even 80% we're almost always calling.
Hi guys, David I think I would continue to barrel most cards as sonny said. I may check back a heart and a jack but would probably bet smaller as a non 7 leaves more 7x in my range so probably around 335 on the turn.
May i ask why you mr when blinds are 10/20. Is that to reduce varience b4 blinds go up? AQ is not a hand that you wanna play multiway ofc but it is the early stage so you no need to make agressive plays i guess?

nice one, Paul! How would you proceed with 8d7d (around 6:30 mark) if the turn hadn't been another 7?

Hi Aaron, I now 2.5/3x at 10/20 depending on the starting stack, as this HH is about a year old now.
