Max Lacerda utilizes the solver to train the most common spot in button v BB which equates to the most important to your win rate as the frequency and pot size will have the biggest impact on your bottom line when mastered.

Thanks for another great drill video! I like that you show the solution rather than just moving on to the next hand.

I got a lot out of your talk on it being more important to construct your rng properly rather than over focusing on bet sizing.

I don't use flop overbets basically ever on the flop. I tend to simplify to block or 75%. Is this a big leak to completely cut a size out that is costing me a lot of ev?

Thanks!

Thank you for the compliments!

And about your question, no, I don't think that's a big leak at all, the only difference that will happen is that your range should be a little bit less polarized compared to an overbet one, so you'll be able to "value bet" more top pairs for example.

Hey nice one! Enjoy the drill content.

I remembered you went through your own 1755 pio sims in one of the early drill videos after each hand. I find those sims are simpler and easy to remember vs wizard sims since wizards just having too many sizes. Would be thrilled to see you bring those back in the future videos.

Again, thank you for the video!

NIce video! It would be nice to see the B-X-B node in the future.

Thank you!

I think this is a node that you'll get much more value playing more explo than solver due to how field deviates. They have a very hard time constructing their river checking range, betting most of the strong hands and checking most of the middling hands, making the checking range much weaker than they should. So usually it's a very good idea to overbet with your bluffs, but be careful to notice if they're not adjusting.

Hello Max, another good session!

You advocate for playing 1 cbet sizing on the flop, which I also agree with, however GTOWizard has sims with 4 bet sizes on the flop. During the training there were lots of spots where the solver is mixing between multiple bet sizes on the flop. How do you deal with that, given that it affects:
Overall cbet frequency on flop
The ranges we get to turn and river with
To me this is the biggest drawback of GTOWizard and has prevented me from getting it yet. As someone who likes to use it, I was wondering how you get around this issue?

BB bet small on turn and river, and the solver is raising 26% of the time IP on the river. I agree that most people will miss thin value raises along with lots of bluffs here IP. How would you exploit this as the BB in this situation? Value bet thinner and bluff more than the equilibrium? Would trapping/overbetting strong hands more often make sense here too for the BB in real games?

Hi, I just got back to poker not long ago, i used to play full ring. Those strategys look very similar to what i used to do. I just wanted to make sure, does it make sens to apply this in full ring? my coach at the time told me he realised that most the of the full ring strategy was not really adaptable full 6-max but there were 6-max strategy he would apply to full ring.
