Max Lacerda returns with the fourth installment of this series where he first battled two live sessions across $100 and $200 zoom before reviewing the marked hands in greater detail. In this final part, you'll learn to apply concepts such as using blockers to bluff-raise and clearing outs.

Enjoyed the review.

5:35 you talked about only wanting to use one size on the turn. Do you find that is too limiting on your ability to extract thinner value especially with jx and to bluff a little wider? I probably would have bluffed the 98 on the turn for 40% pot or so.

Thanks!

Hey, thanks for the comment!

I always like to approach this situation like this:
- I'll always have some sort of EV loss because I'm not a robot and can't execute a perfect strategy
- I want to put myself in nodes in which I'm closer to executing a very good strategy
- As a human, I'm unable to balance different sizes with different range of hands in a particular node
- The thing about poker is: You'll barely lose EV choosing just one sizing and playing your range accordinly to that size. The biggest EV loss is when you put hands in certain sizes (or lack to put them) that they shouldn't be betting.

So because of these reasons I rather not bet a hand for thin value with a small sizing on the turn if I already chosen a bigger one.
