at 14:10, as defensor we can fold almost 100% these hands like JTs? I was overcalling 100% of the time, never have seen the EV was near 0, considering that is an ace high flop should be less, 4sure i'm overcalling
Yes, specially because of 2 exploit factors:
1. Field as 3BP IP PFR won't overbluff in general, so we can start to overfold a little OTF already
2. Ahi flops are the least bluffed ones by population
This might be the only spot in the game tree where I can give you this advice if you were the 3b defensor:
Interesting to see so many scenarios where the preflop caller is likely to over-call vs the flop cbet and then be susceptible to over-folding on later streets. Do you know whether this happens in other positions quite as often too, e.g. MP 3bets vs UTG? Does it happen when the 3bettor is out of position too, or does being in position add enough equity realisation to the preflop caller that it is not quite as much of an issue?
It happens in all formations, but specially when they are OOP. Specially because it's hard to not overcall there, where as if they are IP, solver is calling much more aggressively.
great video! I never picked up on the concept of how are range will handle certain board run outs, something I always overlooked when deciding my c bet strategy and sizing.
Salve Max, você consegue explicar melhor a decisão de shovar o A9s no river? Vi que você citou alguma questão de blocker, mas não ficou claro para mim. Obrigado pelo retorno desde já. min: 31:49

You can overfold a little on the flop here

Awesome!! I'm glad I could help, thanks for the comment and feedback :)
Great content Max Lacerda thank you ! Do you also consider those heuristics against fish/whale players? Or just go with "play your hand" strategy?
Thank you for the comment!
Vs whales/fishes I use a more simplified strategy of betting 1/3 or checking most of the time because the make more mistakes vs a smaller sizing.

16:02 - IP maybe has fewer flush combos on the King-high-monotone than the Ten-high-monotone
