3min Js 7c 2h flop BTN vs BB SRP. Would Ad9x / Ax9d continue or do you want two suits on the flop as future river bluffs? I wasn't sure when you said A9o is a pure call and A8o mixes folds if diamond matters or not.
10min Q3h on J99cc-Tc-8x if SB played XC-XC-D75 how are you responding? All Qx bluff catch? Because you said KQ is bottom of value betting range IP and some Q9 blocking boats. So if we face a sizable donk bet what is our response? Are we folding tips A9/K9? Turning them into bluffs at all? Just continue boats and flushes?
In theory we should not expect a large donk otr from OOP. We do face some 10% pots in theory. In practise i also don't see many leads after x/c x/c flop and turn. Because the river does not improve OOP enough to beat our perceived valuerange (flushes nd better)
12:45 AT7cc-3x BvB I know a lot of delayed cbets are polarized to strong AX+ and then draws. If I used B66 as my only size is betting most AX and strong TX bad? Pool under raises the turn, so because of their passivity my bet size is smaller and more merged. Would you consider this a leak? I'm going X-B66-B66 quite often with like A8+ where the kicker plays.
No it doesn't have to be bad. I would be careful betting strong Tx because IP should have tons of Ax in his checking back range. Vs a strong opponent i would not deviate much from GTO and bet quite polar and large ott.
24:30 given the small raise isn't supposed to happen but you will see a lot of players do this with JJ QQ ATs maybe some 99 / 88 etc as they want protection vs the small CB size and likely just put you on AK very often. Would you just pure fold AKo still and shove AQs/AKs/KQs with bdfd a long with your AA-JJ? Maybe shove AK with a club unblocking some raises from AKs/AQs with bdfd?
What we can do is develop a clickback range with some of our overcards with bd fushdraws and do the same with our strong Tx and overpairs.
This way we put his (semi)bluffs and toppairs in a tough spot.
34min On k86r-9cc-Jc board with J9s if OOP plays B50-X-B50 what is the worst hand you are raising for value? Do we raise any KX that checked back? Are we just calling with 2 pairs? Raising range polarized to flushes? And like 4c4x / 7c6x?
Vs a 1/2 pot river bet i would raise most 2 pair plus for value. And that is because population is relatively capped using that sizing. Vs stronger opponents i would use a more polar approach and go for stronger two pair +
38min on AQ7r CO vs LJ 3BP. several times you have mentioned on these AXX type boards OOP is supposed to raise 20-40% of the time. Would love to see a video on check raising ace high boards.
40min you mention turning TT-88 with a heart into a bluff. Plenty of bluffs to choose from obviously. For live poker I was talking to a dealer that is pretty obsessed with turning SDV hands into a bluff. I had a similar spot with KT on AT8dd-K-A board where I sucked out vs KQ then got counterfeit on the river. Dealer's advice was he plays a very volatile style with a lot of max pressure hands. Even though I have plenty of show down here he is just going bigger on the turn and barreling the river to fold out some KQ KJ hands. And if they have a hand like 76d that we are ahead of he said something like "you won't have to show your hand." So I wonder if turning some SDV hands into bluffs like you mentioned KQd in the screen shot gets turned into a bluff here with narrow ranges. Blocking AQ/AK/QQ seems pretty big and makes it tough to continue still if you barrel because AJs/ATs start to fold right? If we node lock a hand like ATs to pure fold turn will KQs then become a pure barrel?
With KT in your specific spot u block Kx and Tx and unblock Ax. Generally i would not advice trying to bluff live players of strong holdings.
With the KQss, if we nodelock and make him fold enough Ax then at some point we will pure bet KQ i guess, but i do not know at which point.
44:50 excellent pro tip of folding vs someone that has a WWSF of 45 or lower on K977ss board with QJo. Continue vs 46-50 WWSF and fold vs 51+ WWSF as you will get bluffed too often and vs 45 or lower its likely too value heavy.

A9 is a pure call. But it is the bottom of our continuing range.

wizard EV of KQs bluffing vs checking about the same. The bluffing EV will go up if we make A5s/A4s/ATs to fold?

This type of format is easy to follow and flows really well. Would like to see more of this. Thanks.
