clearly i was speaking about the begining of the video, lol. And yes i would like to sit and watch you play alot, not all day, but i would be happy with more than an hour, thanks.
Hi, Luc I have a question about the AKo 4bet vs sqz at 3.34. Is that your standard sizing? I find it way too big, and feel like we don't give him enough room to do something stupid there. I make it 50-52 there... Would be happy to hear your thought about pros and cons of smaller and bigger sizing in that spot.
I think you are right a smaller 4bet would be better on that spot, the only disadvantage of a small 4bet is i let him peel, but if he has a hand like JTs or 9Ts he may just call 62 anyways. Letting him shove light or peel AQ/AJ is def good for me.
10:30 u c/f turn, he checks behind river kx. He probably bets all qx on turn, he 3bets ak preflop, so he doesnt have kings in his range right? Also, u have a lot of kx in ur range that would cf turn like kt, kj, ak. Dont u therefore think this is a good spot to overbet with ur kx and air too? Like he is likely to have a bluffcatcher, so nothing he can do if u give him bad odds.
Also u 3b qjo sb vs btn minopen, do u think u can profitable call this? I always end up in really shitty spots if i call this. Qjs a std call I assume?
Thanks a lot for doing this video! Really appreciate it that u did it after my request. It is just funny how i mess up my timing every single time. Guess i am just gonna keep 4tabling and train this skill. Just wait with folds if u have other spots, how hard can it be lol.
QJo, I'm not sure what the best play is, it seems to me that calling it vs a range of 60% (btn) and 100% (bb), means I its hard to imagine it being a losing play. Particularly vs a min open or 2.5x. Its also a fine hand to 3bet fold.
Kx river I can def bluff however I'm going to have a fair amount of no pair hands in my range, so I can't bluff them all or the correct strategy for my opponent is call my river bet with any pair. I also think I would bet KJ/KT OTT some % of the time, making it kinda tough for me to have K. That said I think a lot of players won't hero call this spot so I think betting is certainly a good option and possibly the best river play in a vacuum, (especially if he's flatting 22 pf)
Do you think it is good for villain to check back some Qx vs better players on turn since ur perceived to c/f turn quite a bit once you check and since it also protects the pairs he has on river?
Player from UTG opens and c/c 2street OOP and then he leads out, in 3way pot, 2/3pot.
He has a lot of Axhx in his range and when he bet out I don't expect to much bluff or better, I don't think in a spots like this (even with 50x probably fish on CO) & a field like thise one UTG can bluff enough to make our play profitable.
I think I should fold river there, it's a tough fold to make in game, but since I have the K and Qh i doubt he vbets worse, it makes a lot of sense for him to have the Ah in his hand, its always tough to lay down the second nuts, but that's a spot where i probably should have.
I coach a guy at ur stakes (or well, he moved up), and one of the first things I did was reducing his hud. He was just looking at stats and decide to cbet or not, or maybe looking a bit at the board, but like never considering pre flop ranges, how turns are gonna play when called, etc. So i gave him a hud with only pre flop stats, which forced him to think better about ranges and board textures, and i am pretty sure he moved up quicker because of this. I can def recommend u try this too, and I wish I did it too when I just started. Everytime u get better, u realize more that u are bad, so just take it from me that what u have to do now is to focus on ranges and how they play on different boards. Gl
why man nice videos :) on 27m JJ hand why you cbet 35% of the pot? theres any reason when you use this sizing bet? cause in most cases i see you betting 75%

Is it me or you run terrible when making videos?
Also, nice vid, as usual.

What was his range in your head?
Ty so much for your vid!

Your HUD seems really simple (not in a bad way) - do you use a lot of popups?

The reason I bet so small is that
1. My range is very strong on this board so I shouldn't bet large because I'm not going to have that many bluffs.
2. He's short I don't need to worry about getting stacks all in by OTR, I can bet small and still comfortably get all the money in.
