38min - What hands could he be reraising with as bluff? Do u guys think villain got AJo in his range, AcJx? Should villain be rerasing with a hand like AhJh as bluff?
I know, the shove over his reraise is gonna work a very little time for to be profitable, but vs a range of 77 and flushdraws, TT is screwed.
If we give him 22 and 33 it's just gettin even worse.
For the shove to be profitable, i think he should have at least 5 combos as bluff, no?
We know that villains range her is massively weighted towards draws which have decent equity vs our TT. Yes, he can have 77 here and possibly 22 or 33, but given the fact that the pot is $190 before the raise, we then have put in another $320 effective to win that (plus villains $320 assuming he calls the shove), our odds are easily good enough in this spot to take our equity vs his range imo - esp if we include the occasional raise-fold bluff and the fact villain has no 2 pairs in his range.
Oh sorry lol, I meant the hand at 24 min. And I'm really suprised the reg folded that river, I would probably jam the turn because there's a lot of rivers like that I would expect him to call on.
I mean obviously it depends what he has to really asses whether or not his turn play is correct. Im assuming this villain will always have value here, and given the river x/f, he probably has an op which I think is definitely a bet given he is likely ahead of the fishes range, and can still beat a decent amount of ours.
I think us jamming turn is really bad seeing that villains range is pretty strong at this point, and only an op is bet-folding. I also have pretty much no shoving range here given the fish is in the pot so calling keeps us balanced. I mean calling isn't ideal but just about correct given we have decent equity and because we have position and we rep well enough to shove some rivers when checked to to get him to fold better (like an op).
With the fish behind I dont have a raising range here, without the fish I would have a raising range but I don't think shoving J10 here is going to profitable so I wouldnt shove.
So on the last hand you shipped it all in. I think its a little close I just don't see to many players folding 3 jacks or a straight to often. But what are the type of players do you try this bluff against? Are you looking at their wtsd to low or are you just going by the fact you have 2 blockers to the nuts and hes a reg? I am sure your looking at all of it but what leads you to run this kind of bluff if your like on a zoom table and you don't have a lot of time to act?
Its certainly a close shoving spot but I think when we consider how well rep nutted hands here, the fact we have the best blockers, and the smallish sizing by the reg otr (he tends to go a little bigger with his super strength), its just about correct. I dont think his wtsd is all that relevant in this spot.
With regards to decision time - these kind of thought processes should always be going through your mind on earlier streets. Considering each others' ranges and our options on a variety of runouts in all the time is certainly something allows you to make a decision like this relatively quickly, but its the kind of skill that needs work and will naturally improve with over time and with more experience.

What a game if betting boats on 4 card straight boards is considered a mistake...
Yeah its a grim reality, but it can only really be a mistake against a very comptenat reg like Yadadameen.
Everyone should read his journal imo http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/174/poker-goals-challenges/1-5mil-hands-3months-progress-thread-1383989/

Hey tonna, i don't know if you know but you say "like", like at least a couple of hundred times lol. But seriusly nice video i really enjoyed it.
Do you think the reg betting into 2 players here is a mistake? I think the turn hits their ranges pretty hard.
Which hand?

Would you jam the turn if there wasn't the fish to act behind? I mean it's surely not important to be balanced against an abc reg?
