might it not have been worth calling since maybe he thinks you are weak due to checking back the turn after you cbet the flop. And a straight is certainly one of the best bluff catchers in this scenario
By the way: Awesome format! Very informative and in-depth. Keep em' coming!
Yep you got a good point there, straight is indeed a good bluffcatcher in that spot but readless i just felt like i was gonna be beat alot of the time since i guess i beat a bad king that he might turn into a bluff but except for that i dont see many hands he Will turn into bluffs.
Nice video and I enjoyed the pace. Notwithstanding you were running very well, I like explanations - very clear. Happy for you to carry on with this type of video.
Thanks man! :) Yes, lately ive been playing without a hud dont really feel the need of it. But will try to get going with HM this month so might be using hud in the next video.
I'm really unsure about the Q8 check raise on the flop with no re-draw.
You're flipping at best when you get it in on the flop vs most player's ranges.
Also you're not pushing that much equity vs a floating range, stacks are awkward on the turn and you're oop when so many cards change the board dramatically.
Seems like most turns will be a nightmare to play.
For instance K looks like a great card but you still have to bet/fold even though hands you're ahead of can be semi-bluffing on that turn.
Only benefit of the xr I can see is you fold out some hands with decent equity, but a lead would accomplish the same thing.
I think I prefer a check-call, a lead or a check-raise pot to go with it on most turns rather than the small check-raise.
I would love to hear thoughts from Robin or anyone else on this hand.

Thanks man good to hear, appreciate it!
I thought the format/pace of the video worked out well for HU Zoom, plus it was great to see some HU play!
Thanks for the video.

good video. I leaned lots, and easily. keep them coming.
thanks
I enjoyed you playing just a single table
great stuff!
Think just 1 table is the way to go for live HUPLO content. Plenty to discuss and gets crazy with each table added thereafter. Nice video.
Great video - with an easily digestible format and pace.... do you always play without a HUD?

Hi,
@ 25 min in 3betpot
i was wondering why you instant say you cannot continue with the hand here on the turn?
You have a Q high flush blocker, this means nothing for you?
He can easily have a bare A here since you dont have any.
How often you continue with a bare Q as a bluff?
or is it you default to give up here?
I really enjoyed this format, great content also.
