really interesting concept so oop is betting these hands to give ip incentive to raise more bluffs adding ev to the nutted hands and make ip's bluff less profitable when checking adding ev to the hands that don't wanna face bets.

Hey.

Its not so much a question of profitability of bluffs for IP but frequency with which they can be used. OOP is betting because it prevents IP from using bluffs as effectively as he is able to vs just a pure check. You can bet bluffs vs check more frequently than you can raise them vs a lead. (Provided the overall result puts an equal amount of chips in the pot of course)
