Very enlightening! I learned a lot about bet sizing and how important it is to not always go with a standard size bet. Proper bet sizing will allow me to exploit weaker players. It will help me to get a call when I want it and to get a fold when I want it. Well done! I look forward to your next video! Good pace, easy to follow. It's also good to know I'm not the only one that encounters software issues during play. Thanks!

Hi Michael,

I like your vids a lot and I am really glad to see some good fullring content! I have some questions and looking forward to your answers:

bottom left table - 16:26

Would you ever check behind a Kd hand in this spot? My point is, that most playerrs would bet Turn & River with any
hand (at least at this turn), because they expect us to never have the nuts and we always have a hard time to call 2 barrels.

upper right table - 31:25

you say, if villain is going for a check/raise, he do it most of the time with some strong made hands and strong
draws and it is an eays bet/fold spot. So, why not betting smaller, around 12$? I guess this size would do the same job and save some money
against him.

upper middle table - 37:58

you say this guy has a lot of toppair/overpair type hands at the turn and is going to call a lot there. If you were in villains shoes, with
a hand like QQ+ or A9, how would you play it? The same way like villain did?

bottom right table - 51:57

do you have a check/call range in this spot? And if yes, which hands are in this range? I mean, in villains shoes, doesn't it make a lot of
sense to turn most of his marginal made hands into a bluff, because he knows you are going to fold almost ever (often even the best better hand) ?

Thanks in advance!

Hey Gofa! Thanks for the questions.

Bottom-left - 16:26
I'm a little bit confused. I'm going to assume you mean check back the Kd on the flop? Seems like you want to check back because you want to have the nuts in a weird spot. I don't like it here very much. You're not going to hit very often, and when you do, you can't get much action because you only need one card to make the nuts. It has more merit if you think your opponent is just going to barrel a ton because of your perceived weakness... but really, I don't think this is a spot where the villain would fire the Turn AND River without some read.

Top-Right - 31:25
I like your reason for wanting to bet smaller. This is my default betsize here, and I could've made it smaller vs this specific opponent. It becomes less clear if betting smaller would be good vs a reg.

Upper-Middle - 37:58
If I was in villain's shoes here, it would be a tough spot. I would fold vs most players, and call vs some.

Bottom Right - 51:57
This is an interesting spot to look at again, and you bring up some great points. The reason I'd be able to fold vs a lot of players there is because they wouldn't actually be turning hands into bluffs there (eg. AX). There are some players I'd check/call against. As soon as I thought someone was able to turn made hands into bluffs at all, let alone here... I'd start calling with hands like AK/AJ, and maybe some more hands.

8:33 Don't u think Call > 4bet > fold?
There are 2 recreational playerds, we don't want FE, our call is too much strong so nutpt wont dont nothing crazy
4bet its a easy way to simplify the hand
fold i cant think about this
What do you think?

I didn't like the idea of calling OOP here vs thenutspt. I really wanted to 4-bet to take it down... expecting that to be +ev, and hating my life if I called and saw a flop here.

In hindsight, I should've called, yeah. I know enough about thenutspt that I shouldn't have gotten out of line like that. I panicked, and when I do that, I like to raise.

I disagree with both of you. I like the way you played it mike. I just think you should've made it your 4bet to $59 or $64 because you are 1. OOP, 2. starting the hand deeper (~130BB) and 3. you're facing a good, aggro opponent that loves to try to outplay and do crazy things.

If you're going to call with your AQ there, you pretty much HAVE to go ape-shit on any Qhigh or Ahigh flop and stack off. You're giving 2 players (more like just one cuz of 1/2 stacker) a chance to get in there and make a big hand vs you (you're repping a big hand), not to mention thenutspt can make a hand vs. you too. You're playing the entire pot OOP with a hand that still might not be good even if you hit (1/3 of the time). Even with your "strength" that you've shown by cold calling a 3bet sqz OOP, you still can't expect to take down a 3-4way pot if you brick, especially vs. a sticky opponent who is running the show IP. If the 1/2-stacker jams, you're gonna have to call it off (and be in bad shape at least 1/2 the time), or fold and leave your 24$ dead when thenutspt snaps him off.

If you were on the BTN, then a cold call might have more merit. I think this a 4bet, a fold, or nothing else.

Great series so far! I have one question. At 19:00 on the top left table you are on the button and you say that the SB and BB almost never 3bet bluff. What are you looking at in the HUD to get to that conclusion?

Thanks for the reply!
