Good video. Live is more enjoyable to watch. You play pretty much the exact same way I do, but better. :) (no HUD, opening a ton of BTNs and SBs, folding to many of them, tight pre-flop).
QQ at the beginning on the video. Isn't it exploitable to fold a hand this high up in range? He's probably a fish, which makes it more likely he minraises Ax, but it's also a bluff fairly often. Do you consider calling here, or do you just get blasted on too much on later streets?
The AQo hand, 13 minutes in. Isn't is best to bet the turn? You have reasonable equity against Tx, JJ, QQ, and what Kx does he have? I never play FR, but I assume he 4-bets Ak, and probably doesn't call with KQ (and you have a blocker to KQ).
Do you consider shoving for 100BB with AQs, when BB squeezes? (around 40 minutes in)
At 45 18, you fold AKs to a squeeze? I'd never ever fold here versus an unknown.
1* QQ is fold to min raise is weak and a mistake. Mandatory call given weakish CB and a m/r from a fish. c/c is probably better default line vs a fish though.
2* Checking back turn in AQo is best line. Villain has AK as a very strong part of his range and is unlikely to 4B pre.
3* Shoving AQs should be considered but folding is probably best as squeezer didn't look like he was folding.
4* Folding the AKs to a squeeze is too weak I think. The fish cold calling, together with his stack size, should have been factored into the decision more.
In addition I feel hero gives too much credit to any dynamic he believes is forming with SmitDude and it likely plays no part at all in influencing the 55 v JJ hand which is fairly standard play. SmitDude plays like a monkey with no fold button against everyone.
Great vid. I like this format of live playing and getting to see a lot of hands, but at the same time I do get your point of wanting to analyze deeper some hands so here is an idea to keep a good balance between getting to see a lot of hands and a game flow of a session but also not missing out on going more deeply through thought process on some interesting spots :
A great advantage of zoom is that you can quickly sit out and sit back in so if there is a spot that's worth talking about a little further, you can always sit out next hand on both tables, pull up the replayer and talk about the hand and then when you are done quickly get back into the action
