Min 27; Dont see the point you make when you say Villain will raise with QJ, KJ, etc and therefore if you bet 30% with J8 you are protected. In that case Jx or 5x has the same value no? They re a bluffcatcher.
But I see the point of the strategy from a general perspective but did not get the specific example if that makes sense ;)
Yeah my train of thought got mixed up there a bit - I think JT+ will raise for value on the river regardless of my strategy, but if I'm never block betting Jx+, I will probably get raised even wider (think A5+ or 66+ ) with lots of bluffs. Including some weak Jx in my range prepares us for this counter strategy.
Definitely - I've got this one on my list for the piosolver series to come afterwards. On the river I think we probably have 3 sizes that make sense to me but mostly using 2 - we have a small # of hands that would want to massively overbet but they won't generally block bet turn. I think it's kinda important to develop an overbet size starting from the turn as well, but I haven't confirmed that with a sim yet :)
With 77? I don't hate it. He's claiming the range that cold calls SB is absolutely crushing this board and he thinks he can lead basically any "bluff" he finds. I mostly agree.
Hey Kevin - Thanks for the high stakes 6 max. it's cool also how you comment and pay attention to all of the hands going on with the other players. Well done.
You mention spots where players are so imbalanced they check and fold close to range you could defend something like 92o. I struggle to identify these spots, what do you tend to look for? I'm guessing spots where villan isn't defending his checking range and over-betting a ton on scary run outs? What kind of stats or showdowns do you look for to make this kind of adjustment?
Yeah any failure to defend within their checking ranges is going to encourage me to defend weaker hands, since we can probably find ways to autoprofit on no equity bluffs. The main exception would be vs players who overdo flop cbetting...if we aren't realizing equity by getting free turns/rivers ever then we're going to have a hard time making a profit with this stuff.

How many sizes can we develop on the river ?
Do you like range bet turn for a low size should be okay ?
