I am very curious of something I been trying out lot recently and always worried if overdoing it too much and it being just not good strategy/simplification.
If you look at sims below for same spot you was analyzing, just making it check range flop drops our EV only by 0.06 (Goes from original -3.21 to -3.15 when checking range) but simplify our strategy lot.
Do you think it pushing it too much to check most boards (with few exceptions) with 100% range of hands in similar situation or do you think it reasonable simplified strategy what not loses much EV?
Also maybe similar video explaining ICM implications and why there is much less/more opens, flatting vs opens and 3bets forcing us playing much differently then chipev would be very interesting.
Great video! Would definitely love to see more fundamental concept videos. How to think about and derive postflop bet sizings on our own would be one I'd like to see.
Trying to become more familiar with some of these core theoretical concepts and build an intuitive understanding of them. How they change based on various settings, how to apply them in game to build a more dynamic style.
Would love to see more videos on theory like this broken down into digestible principles.
Great video, @ZeeJustin. As for your question on what we think of this video type, I love hearing an advanced in depth look at beginner topics. I’d be very interested to hear it taken a step further by exploring playing OOP, specifically early position vs IP flat. Look forward to more videos.
This video was very helpful. Having a player like Justin waxing philos on the fundamentals of poker is very special. More videos of Justin taking deep dives into the inner workings of the game is needed. More please!

Even if I am a cash game player I found this video very useful, thanks!
Great video! Love the more theoretical approach, keep them coming!
Absolutely well done!
I feel you started off with the basics then ramped it up to just the right amount of difficulty.
I also got a lot out of how you explained how to expand your studying.
I think you should do an entire series on the breakdown of different fundamental concepts.
I think you have become one of the best coaches on rio.
This is your best video yet Justin. Very helpful indeed. Thank you so much.
Great video!
I"d love to see more videos like this - concept of entire series devoted to different theoretical things sound for me lovely!

Very good video, I found it to be just right in terms of difficulty - I need more fundamental concepts hammered home.
Great vid Justin
Justin - I’ve enjoyed all of your videos so far. I think the more theoretical approach is great too.
Really enjoyed this Justin.
