You are using CEV ranges even for the preflop spots, is that just because it is early enough that it is close enough so out of convenience to then jump to CEV postflop?
And then in regards to ICM ranges, do you have any thoughts on future game simulations for deeper stacks? I have done some sims for short stacks and final tables with hrc in the last couple of months and there are significant/extreme differences between conventional ICM sims and sims that account for future game, say a short stack 4bb jamming range UTG 9 handed at ft jams significantly more even if only calculating 3 hands into the future (with and without bb increase). Now these sims take very long, I have not seen anything yet for deeper stacks and i could not run them on my pc.
My intuition says this is still a large field that is not covered yet by solvers and can change ranges quite significantly one way or another even for deeper and middling stacks.
Like putting your chips in to potentially double up, with different stacks at different stages of tournaments and then considering the future ev of that double up, I think risk-reward ratio changes quite significantly and can alter ranges consequently significantly making them both tighter and wider than what a conventional ICM sim says depending on the situation, this is just my personaly assumption. I could be off and with deeper stacks there won't be big differences. So just wondering if you have any thoughts on this.
Welcome here!
I would love to see some Heads Up content or Theory videos from you!
Or some breakdowns on where there is some room to exploit good players today :)
Outstanding video! You have a great way of explaining things and it was a good balance of showing hands and mixing in solver work. Looking forward to more like this.
Great video! Re: the K6s btn three bet hand, you mentioned we have the polarity advantage, which I found surprising considering we are deep and they have sets more often ( I assume?). Are we still considering AA, KK to be nutted hands we would happily stack off with?
2:09 3Betting turn vs a human seems fine here. He is probably going to re raise the strong region, + I don't think players X enough 64s here. The only nuts is 77 and you block that.
I find it super easy for vilain to be quickly over condensed toward the Ax region raising for value, and we can put his Ax in a very tough spot when we 3Bet.
Really enjoyed your video. I like how you think out loud about things to check for before pulling up GTO wiz. You did a great job of explaining the sims as well ex: Where not to spend time Like calling with Q or J high and blockers that don't really matter in that situation.
1 - you have one of the most unique color schemes I’ve ever seen for a solver output interface. How did you come across it/choose it
2 - about 5 minutes before the end of the video, you open K7s and get called. Flop 742tt with no backdoor for you. You point out that on the flop, the solver basically doesn’t care what size you use with K7. You spoke a little about reasons to use one size or another. Is there a general process you use in spots like these to simplify, or is it a case by case basis?
When we have the very strongest hands on a specific board and some very weak bluffs to go with it, whereas our opponent(s) have a condensed middling range of a lot of not so good to pretty good, but not the very best hands
Learning from the best - Loved the video! The content was presented really well and professionally. I also liked the format a lot, combining GTO Wizard with the tournament review, looking at all the hands.
12mins in and I’m quiet disappointed.
I’m not in the habit of calling mistakes out but he went ahead to say people in videos don’t understand the concept of making something zero EV. But he uses equity and EV interchangeably which is almost criminal. Come on dude? If you want to call others out atleast make sure you are right especially when you are recording and have the option to review and edit your content.
Here is some food for thought. Something that has zero EV doesn’t mean it has zero equity. And something that has zero equity doesn’t mean it has zero EV. Last one is more difficult to understand and doesn’t happen in all the spots

You can find 200bb ranges in GTO Wizard — in solutions library go to MTT > ICM > Classic > 100% left > Symmetric. Then can use AI Solve for postflop.
welcome and great to have you here!

Nice debut video! Looking forward to the upcoming content.

Yeah I wondered the same thing here. Equities run really close (according to GTOW 200bb ranges) and HJ has a nut advantage.
I got a lot out of the 66 hand breakdown. Can’t wait to see other videos from you Justin. Thanks!

youre literally the only reason im at this site, and you did not disappoint, looking forward to the next video!
Hey Justin,
Two questions:
1 - you have one of the most unique color schemes I’ve ever seen for a solver output interface. How did you come across it/choose it
2 - about 5 minutes before the end of the video, you open K7s and get called. Flop 742tt with no backdoor for you. Also, great first vid, can’t wait to see the next part
Nice video, Justin! Welcome to the team!
i thought it was great
Great video, perfect pace. The more delving into where population deviates from theory the better IMO.
what is a polarity advantage?

Finally had time to watch it. Great Video, waiting for more.
Great vid ,love the format please keep it like this
Thanks. Might be useful to use custom Ai for single size strategy postflop and adjusting for stack depths.
