I like the content and the 4 tables. Having your HUD over the holecards is a bit tilting, but all in all a good movie with some interesting spots.
I think, the AKT7hh lead on Q98cch, Qh, against BongBob is pretty interesting. I'll expect him to ch back Q8/Q9 often and we block Aces, kings and hearts. Not sure what the best strategy is against his range in that spot, just an observation.
I agree it is an interesting spot. I agree that he checks back some two pairs on the flop. However he also still has ton of weak made hands and draws that I get to fold by betting. He 3-bet IP BUvsCO, so he could easily have some weak pair+draw on the flop or turn he might give up against a bet.
Nice Video. Min25:50 or so, top right, do you always fold the QQ33rb there in the SB or does it depend on opponents/stack sizes? Do you call with a suit? I'm assuming you would call on the button all the time?! Thank you
Yeah, I think calling is fine too. I don't think this specific hand suffers too much from playing OOP in a multiway pot as it is so polarized. BU and BB I call for sure. As said calling is fine as well.
@28 min top right in the 3way hand vs Jeans and the btn, you
mention at the end of the hand on the river on the
Ks-9d-6d-Tc-6c board that you can't explain it but you don't think you're ever good on the river here, even if Jeans folds so you fast fold QQJ9 on the riv.
I suppose my question is, what do think is in the btns range? He flatted pre and checked back on the btn 3 ways on a Ks-9d-6d board, so hes pretty much telling us he doesnt have KK/99/K9 etc. When the turn comes a To, he just overcalls jeans' lead and your flat on the turn IP. My guess at his range at this point (especially since you dont have any diamonds in your hand) is bare NFD's, maybe some 78xx, and then TTxx.
So on the river when you both check to him and he bets $350 into $500, how often do you think he bets his NFD's + 78xx (as a bluff to get you or Jeans off of QJxx) on the river? Because the only value hand thats a boat that I could see him having here is TTxx but I could certainly see him possibly bluffing a decent chunk of the time with his bare NFD/s/78xx as a bluff (even into 2 plyrs on the river).
I agree with everything you said. In theory this is a pretty standard call on the river. Folding there is just an exploitable adjustment towards my opponent(s).
As always a wonderful video. I am wondering at 23:00 where you flop everything (nut flush, top set) where there are virtually no run outs that hurt us and very little likelihood he has anything that can continue on the flop, is there more merit to checking the flop as opposed to the small bet? Thanks.
any chance you could explain your hud? ie take screenshots of the hud settings for what everything is. would be awesome.
and a great vid again, keep it up!
@7:15 with the QQxx on the 5 turn , can u explain me why u didnt barrel on the turn? i think against his range he will give up a decent amout , and you will even get value from hands like AJTx etc. with that u will give him the opportunity to hit his hand or even bring u in a tough spot on the river when u check the turn. so overall i think betting>checking
It was an attempt at a joke. The way you said ‘betting’ sounded like you were doing the jazz hands at the time :) Either way, keep up the videos, your videos are the reason I went for the elite membership.
@ 26:50 Top Left. You check back the turn after 3b BTN full pot vs CO pre. Given the CO was < 100bbs deep, you are obv 3betting pre for value. When you CB small on flop all of his draws and weak made hands have good value to peel. My question is: why check back on the turn? This is a spot I would go for max fold equity with a ~pot sized bet. I could see this folding Ace + gutter part of his range & more (especially when it’s hard for him to have picked up FD). Even if he slowplayed AA (unlikely @ 75BBs pre) or has AJ, you would still have ~25 - 30% equity in this spot with NFD + gutter and potentially K being live. I just feel that in that spot you are essentially choosing between 2 scenarios… 1. Putting max pressure on opponent on turn while still having 25 – 30% (in worst case) with SPR of 1.5 or in scenario 2: Checking back and realizing your equity while giving away a TONNE of info capping your range and giving him a v powerful position on river. Any feedback much appreciated…
Thanks for pointing that out. Reviewing the spot now, I realize you are probably right. Today I would bet the turn for all the reasons you mentioned. Thanks for helping me out - hope I can return it soon.

V serious question: Did you do the jazz hands @ 25:45?
Sorry, I don't get it, what do you mean?
