Have you heard of grit before? Are you struggling with the passion or the discipline part?

This was absolutely brilliant. Until a few months ago, I'd been out of the game since Black Friday 2011 (aside from the occasional recreational appearance at a casino). Back in the day, I'd never really made it out of low stakes. I studied a little bit, read some books, but wasn't "gritty" about it.

I started my comeback over the summer and have been really focused on becoming mentally tougher, in addition to really improving my game. Content like this, and books like Jared Tendler's "Mental Game of Poker", have helped a ton. Thanks for sharing!

Hey Jan, thanks for the video, one of the best episodes from you imo. Enjoy the concept especially taking pride of the process, it gives me some new perspectives.

One quick question regarding your list of "ways to practice it" --
I’ve tried some of these but find myself in a really bad condition when I force myself to do the “unpleasant task” — I ends up playing my B or C game when playing or below average performance when lifting weights. In your opinion how to tell when to stop/when to push through? Thank you!
