It's for protection. Hands we lose to we're gonna lose either way, while hands we have beat are more likely to check turn and/or river (QQ/TT/etc as shown in the screenshot below) while there aren't as many bluffs which are gonna barrel off from which we get value (mainly A9o which folds to xr which would barrel on some runouts).
However similar as what I mentioned in video, I think most players ranges are going to be stronger so vs a stronger range we would most likely raise those hands a much lower or 0% freq.
