iteopepe88 fires up a session at $30/$60 that stays five handed throughout which makes for a great discussion on a number of different hands.

Awesome video! Looking forward to part 2.

9:20 you said if ronki has 55-7 suited he should 2bet. Is that because there is another 8 behind which hurts your hand? Is calling ok if there was no 8 behind?

11:25 you mention generally the split kings should 2bet. If a low card opens and another low cards calls should you still 2bet your high pairs or is it better to justst call?

12:48 jerryfci walks you. Is getting walks something that happens in stud hi or hi lo or should the co/btn always look to at least limp if not raise most of their rng especially with a good card up?

22:20 would you also include raises if you caught a 4h, 5h or 6h as well?

Thanks!

Sorry for the late reply!

9:20 these spots i kind of tough in general, what hands to 2bet to isolate, and what hands to call...But i prefer these small/medium pairs with good (suited low) kickers to 2bet/isolate, it just feels better for me, but can't really explain the logic behind it

11:25 Good question! I would definately call there more split kings, since we won't get it HU ever on 3rd by 2betting. I still 2bet my stronger split Ks (for example AK-Kss, so 2suit+blocking in ace) is 2 bet. But i also call with some bad ones (like K9-K rb), to have some deception and allow me to play some other type of hands (mostly 3flushes) and not being really faceup

12:48 In stud high it rarely happens (esp FR game). But in stud8 it happens quite a lot, especially in shorthanded, low ante structure. FR/high ante it can be ok to have a limping strategy, since you want to play a lot of hands, but be aware to not only limp your weak hands, and raise your stronger ones. However for example in this structure, or in any HU format with normal antes limping isn't a thing, since we are going to play a tight range, and that range prefers to raise.

22:20, no, i wouldn't. But here i made pair of 8 with this 8hh, so i can beat 55.. (although if i know that he plays these type of hands than i can raise all of those too)

@25:00 the bringin can easily defend vs your open, and it is for this reason that your bet on 6th is good rather than bad as bringin should fold his 55 w/o a lowdraw hands. ie while you are behind in equity you gain some by making him fold.
