16:30 do u like SB call predraw agains cap? shouldn't he throw away 8 and draw 3 if he decides to play here 3way?
52:20 8652 is it mandatory VPIP from SB vs 2 players? Don't expect CO to ever have 1 card draw here, but even against d2 d2 I don't think I like the spot [ICM and positional issues]. Change 6 to 3 or 4 and I'm in all day long.
Thanks for the video, would love to see part 2 before WCOOP Iteopepe88
16:30, SB with 842. After he calls the original opens I think he needs to continue. At least i am never calling an open and folding vs a 4bet in a cash game format. So i never even considered folding that hand, but maybe because of ICM that can be an option. I'am not ICM expert, especially when it comes down to limit/mix games. He will be out of positions against two strong ranges (either one card draw/pat hands) with only 842.
If I call in his spot i would keep the 842. We never break that hand. It would be different with 87L2, so 8732, 8742, 8752, 8762, those hands can/should consider break the 8 multiway, esp oop and take 2 for 7x2. So i would either call/take or fold. Now I think, because of ICM and he is a middle stack i would probably fold his hand against the 4bet...
I know that when i studied ICM for NLHE tournaments (when i started to play poker, like 10-15 years ago), it changed the ranges/game a lot. Because of that now, after you suggested and the more i think about it, i would fold it because of the cold 4. OOP against 2 strong ranges, with the medium stack...
52:20, 8652
Similar spot. In a cash game that's a no brainer 3bet/value jam. I think despite because of ICM 8652 still becomes a 3bet here. In cash games the weakest hand that i play/jam here is something like ~3467; 8654; 8653, 8762. Maybe with those hands we can be more careful/conservative. Although in multiway pots i am always breaking 8762, so at first draw i would call with that hand and play as a 762. Maybe with 8653/3467 type of hands i can see a reason to be more conservative and only call/take 1. But 86L2, clean 86draw with a deuce is imo too strong to just flat.
As for future contents: If we got a lot of other request, that other people wants 2-7 triple draw also i will consider making a second part :) Would like to focus on other games (stud8 and badugi). But plan to review the US poker open and in that we will have some 2-7 triple draw hands
Very good, clear commentary, as always. Love to see some Dramaha or Badacey, Double Board Omaha, etc.
I always learn something watching your reviews.
The audience may be smaller, but believe me. you make a RIO subscription worthwhile with these mixed game videos!! You are always top of my list to view. Ty so much!
