Hi, enjoyed the vid, thanks! At the 24 minute marker you talk about 3betting the bb with 98733, that would be a shove? What does your non allin 3b range look like, and specifically are you 3bet some weak d1's that are folding to a shove?
~30bb effective yes we can 3bet shove for sure, especially against players who are opening the BTN too much
But I also have a non allin 3b range which looks like something like this
pat 9+
pat Js (that are folding a to a shove)
snows (2228K, 3335J, 4444K, 88899, etc)
for 1 card draw with these stack sizes i think we want to 3bet a polarized 1card draw range: 3bet the stronger ones that we can stackoff against a shove (2347, 2358, 3468-3, etc). And 3bet some weaker 1c draws, that we don't hate to fold against a 4bet shove. e.g. T983K, or maybe something like JT43-3.
9873-3 is quite close. Probably not strong enough to 3bet-call. Probably too strong to 3bet-fold. So probably yes, i would have 3bet shove that combo :)
BUT!
I have to admit that my 2-7 NL SD game is very rusty. I don't play that game regularly, so pretty sure my frequencies are not perfect
First hand, if chambers opens the pat t, would weissman 3bet and should chambers go with his hand?
If both were 100bb deep, would it go 3bet and call then both pat and check down?
18:35 do you still open that hand in early position?
In triple draw, there seem to be some basic, general rules for 3 betting like if you have a 1 card draw you 3bet to not cap your range. Are there any basic 3 betting rules for single draw?
CO vs SB 28bb effective it's very hard to fold a pat T....
I probably would have stack off with that hand.
It really depends on the table dynamic too.
He also has the option to break it. He is in position and if he thinks villain never have a pat J, then he can draw to 9542

100bb deep, or deep stack: I don't have too much experience playing 2-7 NL sd very deep, but yes. I expect the hand to be played 3bet/call, check-check.
18:35, 9876-8 from CO:
from utg i am still opening 9765. But 9876 even with a blocker is weaker is weaker than that. It depends on the table/structure.
If I play against very tough players who are 3betting fair amount I probably fold, but it's still close...Very borderline hand.
If I play against more passive players in a higher ante structure I open it for sure
3bet strategy for 2-7 NL SD: No there isn't a general strategy when to 3bet. It's completely different compared to 2-7 triple draw. Not only it's 1 draw only, but it's a BIGBET game, therefore stacksizes has a huge impact on the hand, and every hand is different because of this.

Thanks for covering this game!
