Would very much like to see more of this. Really good. High stakes mixed cash. Don’t care much about late stage, short stacked tournament footage. Way more to learn about the games in these hand where you’re playing deep into em with multiple decisions interacting, and all aspects of the game explored.

I agree that short stacked stuff is less useful, but one point to those videos favor is that they do have hole cards up which is nice for seeing how everyone plays.

That said, yeah, I definitely prefer cash formats from iteopepe88 (especially since, from watching the tournament videos, that seems to be iteopepe88's specialty anyway). Happy to see live play cash on Kings or session reviews like this.

Great video! I really enjoyed it. Please make more mix cash game videos, with Badeucey, Badacey, A-5, 2-7, Badugi, Dramaha etc. I prefer the other format, where we can see the hands played out in the video, rather it is a game you played or you going over someone else
video!

Thanks

Great video. It is great you found some hands to cover these games. Hopefully you can do some more .

At 28:30 is there any merit to raising the c bet on the flop to fold out the bb? Are iso raises even a thing in drawmaha on the flop?

At 42:33 in badugi you did not improve after first draw facing other players who also drew 1. Do we ever chk here? Is the fact we have the nut tri and a 3 blocker enough to bet? What if our tri was worse?

On river if it checked to sam how thinly can he value bet? Is a t or 9 badugi good enough?

Thanks.

28:30 about the dramaha wether to raise the flop or not. I think overall that's a bad strategy/approach. We gain more by letting BB's weaker range in the pot, but more importantly it defines our range. We showed weakness by just calling pre, and UTG has a stronger 5card draw range. It doesnt make too much sense to raise (even with a flop set imo), since then players can play perfectly against that in the future. If we have a raising range on the flop they will know exactly when we hit a set on the flop for omaha, and when we just call they can be sure we didnt hit a set.

42:33, badugi
With #1 3card, against weaker range, despite in a 1-1-1-1 spot i am never checking. Once i 3bet squeeze pre i also bet most (if not all of) my range. However there should be some weaker hands that we might want to check (maybe a hand like A2-6?). But once we 3bet and thought that we are ahead against HJ opening and CO flatting range with our 1card draws, despite we brick, we will still ahead against their ranges. If i have a weaker hand (lets say A67), then i am not 3betting pre.

About the river i think you are around on point. Probably i will valuebet ~9-T. But it depends a lot on players. If OOP players never checkraise, but they always call with a strong 3card (like 3card 4+), then he should basically valuebet everything. Also it depends wether he has any snows here, and wether opponent's thinks he can have snows here (to be honest, i doubt anybody bluffs/snows this way). Since i dont think he has too many snows, and maybe OOP players can have snows, i would maybe go with smooth 9s to valuebet (so like bet ~974A+, but check like 987A). But as i said it's tough, tricky and even if he valuebets all tens, it's not the end of the world.

Mix game are tough and everybody (including) myself are making bigger mistake than this. But if he has 0 snows, and OOP are never c-calling and can craise some hands, than for example valuebetting every badugi would be a clear, big mistake

I really appreciate your thorough reply.

I find the toughest games are the split games but especially baduecey and badacey. There seems to be so much to keep track of.

I find 2-7 drawmaha hard as well because we have to balance such a wierd hand with a low in our hole cards but make a high with the board.

7 stud 8 or better is a struggle as well but i find that some concepts from o8 help a bit there.

22:00 or so Dramaha hand w 44QK ds I'd fold pre even for 1 extra bet. Your draw hand which is the critical component of your hand just is way too weak and won't improve significantly often enough.
