7:00 should hero be bluff raising top and 2nd pair hands?
7:30 if hero caught a t or j after second draw can he raise to get opponent to break?
19:30 the only time i raise after first draw with 1 card draw then fire after bricking 2nd draw is vs very loose player. Am i missing value by only doing it vs that player type?
I would have just xc and draw 1 on each street. Is that too weak?
7:00 If hero bluff raises here with all the top/2nd pair hands he will be just massively overbluffing. So I won't do that.
7:30: With a T I won't. The reason is that we still have SD value. Some players checkraises in this 2-1 spot oop (way) too much, including all Tens, and some Jacks too. Against too we have SD value, we don't want our opponent to break something like a T8763, J5432, etc. It's still tricky, because we (would) have T8742, quite week Ten overall. Little bit similar rule applies like the previous hand. If hero 3bets turn with T/J, he will do that way too much.
With a Jack however I quite like the play, but it also depends on our (previous blokcer). For example If I have 2345J-23K I really like that, because we don't have a clean draw (despite we are drawing to the nuts, but it's still a straight draw, so not like 2347). We also have 2 low cards blocker, and seen zero 9/T. We can get some folds too (from hands such as T9762, etc.), and breaks from hands like T8542.
19:30 I won't raise there ever! Neither against looser player. Neither against other type of player. It just turns over your hand/range. And (very) good player can exploit that. I see a lot of player doing it. They are getting a little bit value in this hand. But overall in the long run they are turning over their hand/range in this spot, and once they call I also know they don't have a premium draw. It's still hard to exploit this tendency (only very good players can), but it's still bad imo.
