Brad Wilson brings you a video on the importance of spending your study time wisely so that you're studying things that will actually make a difference to your winrate. He also coins the term "Fancy Study Syndrome" and the propensity for people to study things that are rarely applicable to their everyday games.

Really good points in the video! One of the treats I do in order to study relevant stuff is from time to time review marked hands and group doubts by category. The most common/easier to solve, that's where I go.

Nice vid, liked it ^^

Really good video. Really easy to forget about studying specifically to your own area of play, either as a early bird or night owl etc. You have given me plenty to
think about in such a short video. Thank you.

Really excellent video that reasonaited with me as a professional live grinder, I definitely find myself studying stuff way above my functional reality to stay current with the game but that time could be better served narrowing my scope significantly.

Loved this video Brad!
Not that this happens all the time, but now I understand better why sometimes I my play suffer after watching a video.

Makes total sense to me that our subconscious is responsible for a big part of the decision making process, so it's hard for us to verbally explain why we've done something. Trying to reasoning everything may lead to slightly misleading conclusions.

So I play better after watching a video from someone who shares a similar personality and beliefs as I can absorb and then apply more accurately when playing.

As a perfectionist and obsessive person (intp personality) I also need to be more pragmatical. Thanks for the wakeup call!

I've recently came back to learn poker (decided to dedicate at least one year of full time study/play) and you are one of the reasons I'm going to renew my subscription.

Thank you!

Even for a such long ago posted video, the content is super valuable. I have been thinking about many things said in the video on my own before, but now I have more reasons and arguments for to follow them. Thanks!
