Good video. Hand 1: What's the plan on a turn that pairs the board?
Last hand is a pretty interesting spot. I think I like it though. Queens-up is almost always jamming turn. You will unfortunately run into kings-up a non-zero percent of the time which isn't going to fold, but I think you will get missed naked Q/K high flush draws to fold.
Thats a pretty interesting scenario, since a paired turn most likely puts a flushdraw out there as well. I would probably just check/fold, my flop c/r range doesnt include that many sets or twopair even if a have a few. So facing a bet on a paired turn here oop is very awkward. Looking at it from my opponents perspective though its a pretty great bluffspot I would say, since our range is somewhat capped this is a spot where he can put alot of pressure by barreling twice since his range should include way more fullhouses.
Yes for sure, and I agree. It will have to work slightly more than 1/3 of the time and Im positive it will, and Im in the bottom of my range here and have one of the better hands for making this play since I block a lot of significant cards. So even if we have a little bit of showdown value I think Im so far down in my range and this is going to work a pretty large portion of the time so unless Im playing someone who have a tendency of overcalling the river way too much I want to bluff here otr for sure.
I've really concentrated on playing a fairly tight strategy at 6 max tables and haven't really played any HU plo. Do you think that HU strat from these vids can be applied to 6 max situations like BN opening vs BB or does the game flow of a HU match change all of the dynamics? That would be a case of a wide range vs another fairly wide range right?
Interesting question, tbh I barely been playing any 6max for the last year so Im not sure Im the one to answer it but Ill give it a go.There is things that could be applied for sure, dynamics you will build in 6max games also though like if someone is opening too wide you want to punish them and have a higher 3bet frequency, or same if its the other way around if someone is 3betting too much from the button you want to tighten up your stealing range and have a wider 4betting range, standard things like that. As you are saying though, its definitely the same scenario with two wide ranges vs each other but at the same time hu strat is including a pretty high limpingfrequency from the button, and I assume thats something not that many 6max players are using right?

Thank you!

Agree with the above. Last hand is very close between checking/potentially calling or raising and just bluffing

Yes in 6 max if I saw someone limping from the BN I would think it pretty fishy. It's more about stealing in 6 max I think
