This video was definitely very good, I'm not talking about the amount of mistakes, but because of your mental energy during the session, going back to playing without a grind rhythm and stacking a lot of tables is a common mistake for all of us and realizing that even high stakes players Making this type of mistake makes me believe that I can gain a large EV by working on my mental skills.
I also think many people would scrap material where they made a lot of mistakes, but that would just be the ego. So I disagree with the opening statement, you are a true poker coach for leaving this in. Everyone has sessions like this and you're doing all of us a favour and soothing our selfcritical minds by being humble enough to show it. Besides, talking about mistakes is imo even more informative so the actual content might be better for it.
Completely agreed sometimes specifically targeting these sessions and figuring out why we made certain mistakes is really important. I for sure learned a lot from analyzing this session for my own game
It makes you a true poker coach because you showed the bad with the good!
5:35 table 1 you said we have to bluff quite a few missed flush draw hands. Does that apply more since the fd was back door? Does it change if the draw was front door?
14:14 table 4 qq98 if you bet turn would you barrel brick rivers?
Isn't us having two hearts bad as it blocks out opponents backdoor floats that we are targeting to fold on turn?
31:00 table 3 qqt6 you said it should be checked on the flop. Is that to xf?
45:40 table 4 at97 you said we have a lot of overpairs and top pairs and as such we should be betting most of our air. However, how many of those top pair and overpair hands are we actually betting? If we aren't betting them that much then shouldn't we bring down the frequency of betting our air?
You also mention that though the river card isn't great for us it isn't great for them either. But vs good players they will realize all of that and just hero you more.
5:35 Yeah it also applies if it's a frontdoor FD. Generally in the spots blocking the FD does make your bluff a bit more meh so you wanna have good other cards to make your bluff profitable which in this case we did have of course.
14:14 So if we have like a random 7h river then a 9 is a good blocker, no missed FD is good but the FD blocker isn't ideal. Other than that QQ is quite bad because we are blocking the turned draws but given that we don't have QQJ or QQT we can still just bluff QQ98 but its not the sickest bluff of your life just because QQ is so meh. Something like KT53 with no FD blocker would be a much nicer bluff for example since the K is such a powerful blocker and not having a FD blocker is massive.
31:00 Nop we x/c this QQT6. The pair makes this hand a lot better. We do fold a bunch of QQ just the pair is enough to make it call though.
45:40 Our overall betting frequency is for sure really really low in this spot. But just because we have so few hands of air we can still just bluff them ESPECIALLY when we have A7 which are not irrelevant blockers by any means.
Thanks! Rake is very high lol. 10-11bb/100-ish but you get a bunch of rakeback. I can't really tell you how much because it's different for everyone based on winnings, playing style etc. etc. GG has the most volume by far out of any site though so it's got that going for it
Really liked this video, justifying giving up is one of my very bad habits so I liked the theme of this video being if you have air when it's hard to have air..BLUFF!
Just remember some spots where lots of people checked you have a bunch of air so you don't always bluff everything so gotta be somewhat careful there. But if lots of bets went in yeah for sure hard to have air

Completely agreed nobody is immune to playing tilted/distracted. Always good to catch it as early as possible. Glad you enjoyed the video!

Nice video. What is the rake on GG on 5/10 10/20 compared to other sites?

Your humility and self-criticism is admirable. You're a true poker coach.
