I've found in my simulation that we cbet close to 100, and OOP calls close to 95%. However, the turn is very strange to me. It seems as if both players are continuing close their entire preflop range. I'll ask you what your initial suspicions as to the pio strategy are first before posting my sim.
Good question. My guess is that IP is doing much less overbetting on the turn since OOP range isn’t as capped as on a more GTO scenario, although, I’m not sure.
I agree that population tendencies at this stakes are more passive than GTO, but I belive most players still have a very hard time defending turn correctly even having a stronger range than they should at that point in the hand so, in my opinion, a balanced strategy still very profitable against them.
So what I found in my simulation was that after both players continue to the turn with roughly their starting range, both players check turn close to 100%. I don't know why this is to be honest. I assume that we still have to play our Kx more cautiously due to a larger concentration of 7x in OOP's range than normal, but the almost pure strategy of checking 100% seems strange to me.
Yeah, good guess. I think that when OOP player is so uncapped is very hard to play the betting range appropriately so checking becomes the best option.
But piosolver shouldn't have this issue right? Why does the majority of the game tree on the turn go check check? We're in position, still have the same range advantage, and still are uncapped as well.
I think we don’t have the same range advantage when we are betting at a very high frequency on the flop and opponent is slowplaying every single strong hand. That’s probably the main reason to check full range on the turn.
