Hi Grayson. That were good series, congrats with a win.
31:00 Are you b/c the river with 88?
33:30 hm, I think this is a close one, if not a fold. He has a lot of better combos, prob not 3betting pre JT,QT,QJ and the runout for bluffing is bad. But the odds we are getting are very good, so it's close I guess.
31:00 - Yes, I would be calling a river shove. I would expect his shoving range would be 77, 44, 99, 65s, which I have about 46% equity against, so there's no way I can hero fold.
33:30 - I wasn't particularly happy calling, but I think my hand is way too strong too fold, especially getting such a great price. I also think there's a decent chance he would bet bigger with a stronger hand.
At 24:00, don't you think we could get some thin value on the flop? It's the first time you are open limping and he's been 3-betting so much that there's no reason for him to think you would not raise with your value range. With that in mind I don't think he's ever checking back Ax, broadways, SC and Kx. We're left with the bottom of his range that includes lots of stuff like Qd rags, Jd rags, Td rags, basically any combination with a diamond. Also I think you are not going to get bluffed that much on this board. So I think just leading is the best play instead of letting him realize his equity. What do you think?
I wouldn't be shocked if he checked back weaker suited hands or Kx, and could see him check back weaker Ax hands as well. Betting flop will get him to fold his weak flush draws and may also prevent him from bluffing me off the best hand. Although it is great to accomplish those things, I think he is checking back a wider range than you expect, so he will connect with this board more than you expect. That being said, your points are good that his range is weighted against having Ax and Kx, so I don't mind either betting flop and giving up on the turn, or just c/folding flop.
