I think his small size is great and is the best, especially 200deep , Ovp and TP in Bb s range don’t want to put a ton of money on a card not good for his range.

Why did you not use near geometric sizing after cb 100% flop ? You miss a lot of value with At and Ovp by 3/4 instead of 130~200% OvB.
Same thing river, I think your size is too small, I’m not sure of what you are targeting here (maybe weak 3x or pp). A board where top 2 , here T8 is « counterfeited » and vilain has just a tiny amount of 3x, we really want to bombard here.
Great format, Pio at the end is really appreciated. Be careful on your stats sometimes we struggle to see showdowns.
QJ - yeh i agree, i think either is fine, i RNGd medium numbers so just used that sizing this time. i dont think Tx/OvP are going to pure overbet here, i may be wrong.
Yeh i get the reasoning, i would just say their combo is a great one to overbet seeing as it unblocks all calling range and can get a ton of value from Tx/pr&draw/combo draws etc. even QQ/JJ may be in my range at this depth. they may want to mix some bluffs in their range for overbet size, and even some OvP may overbet to charge the max/protect. once i just check-call flop i think he can apply serious pressure to my weakish range as i would check-raise 2pr+ a lot. the 7 doesnt really improve me to many straights/2prs - its a bit different if it was an 8.

Postflop you go with a 1\3 sizing on flop Q92. Then turn I think you went with a 2\3 sizing saying it will be a triple barrel. Can you explain how you decide to triple barrel and what do you expect villain to fold? Are you using AK just to balance your QQ-AA (15) combos?
Also on the turn you mention you unblock clubs. I thought it was best to have AcKx or AxKc blocking their potential calling range on the turn. Can you please explain this as well?
it will be a triple because i block AA/KK/AQ/KQ so am only worried about being called by QQ/99. I unblock clubs so i get instant folds on river from AJcc/KJcc/KTcc/JTcc. if river comes a club and i dont hold one, i'll check, if i do i'll barrel.
Nice video, how is your redline doing? positive/breakeven/negative?
My redline so this year significantly worse than last, even though I keep playing better and improving. Started to play tighter range than before and more aggressive postflop.
Can't make much of correlation between those two but in your opinion redline will become worse in future(for most pro) because players are getting better/fighting more?
my redline is pretty good tbh, its improved a lot since last year. but nowhere near as good as others who play a far more aggro style. however its all about the profit line -> many ways to skin a cat! whats important is to analyse and if youre struggling to win and your redline sucks then thats an area to work on.
it may be harder to have a good redline with better players, but still plenty of scope to outplay weak opponents/table select etc. as long as keep working hard, plug leaks, and stay ahead of others in your pool then you should be fine.
Gary: ". . .however its all about the profit line -> many ways to skin a cat!"
Jeff_: "why would you want to skin a cat? It means take skin off right? or cut hair?
poor cat :("
Language/cultural barriers between good people and among friends make me smile. Jeff_ - "There's more than one way to skin a cat" is an old saying that simply means there is more than one appropriate way to do a certain thing. Now that you have me thinking about it, skinning cats does seem a bit strange and I may have to investigate this saying later to better understand its origins. But the point of the saying is at least timeless, as well as broadly applicable for a vast array of people and cultures; a sort of archetype I suppose. One person cooks their eggs in a frying pan while another cooks their eggs in boiling water. Maybe "there's more than one way to cook an egg" just isn't as memorable, I don't know. But as it pertains to poker, I found it interesting from seeing certain players' graphs and stats that it is not uncommon for two players from $500 Zoom to have very similar winrates while having noticeably different playing styles. It's pretty cool that something like "styles" even exist in the modern poker era, especially when you consider the fact that many people believe that winning online poker players are just "pseudo-GTO-bots" and all play the same. Anyway, digression over. Thanks for the humor (whether intended or not); it's nice to maintain some lightheartedness in times like these. Be well!

Great content as always. I feel the stats block a lot of showdowns and bet sizes though.

Gary Chappell Yeah I ran a sim and these hands be mixing ovb and 3/4, so OTT you don’t loss a lot of ev by 3/4 instead of ovb.
So you re right, the difference is not so huge.
Otherwise On the river all these hands are pure ovb, (at least 140%) , you want to be polarized and make Tx breakeven.
I’m also curious about bb turn play at ~13:00 with 77, you say you prefer to bomb but Yolan’s logic makes sense to me too

My idea was that everyone getting better PRE, much more 4betting/3betting/Sqz that pretty easily affect redline
Ohhh, how I love this:
