Gary Chappell looks at a session that sees him up against a hand slightly better than his time and time again and looks to keep his cool and continue playing his A game when forces seem to be conspiring against him.

Gary,
Some interesting spots. On the final hand, when you have KK on 6dKdAh, do you ever want to use 2e on turn and river instead of leaving 2x pot on river? Maybe even 3e from flop?

I think I'd be extremely unbalanced if I did that, and not sure I'm allowed to when BTN has so much AKo in range pre at 200bb, and also loads of 6x. Vs a fish I'd get more greedy.

Gary,
Seems like we would do a lot of checking on the turn so going something like 1/3 pot on flop is probably best if btn has a lot of AK. Then when/if we bet on turn (low frequency) we would want to go 2e. Our bluffs could be broadway combo draws and some 8d7d, TP+FD. Value AK, some KK, 66, 76s? This is IF we bet turn of course.

Interested if you think this makes sense or not. Thanks Gary.
