I keep checking your comments in solver for bottom of range 3bets and just spot on every time! As I fixed some of my leaks, I look back on some of your videos and say "Gary was right the entire time." It's like your brain is a solver in real time. Planning on playing any $1KNL or $2KNL?
13 min with AKo you mentioned against the cold 4 bet jam, it's almost always AK and some QQ / JJ. With that statement are you just calling off 99+ & AK here that squeezed Preflop?
Can you do your next video in BBs instead of $? Also do you not use any hot keys for 3bets / 4 bets?
I don't think 99-TT get to call as best case scenario we are vs AK, worst case we are dead - so I don't think the dead money in the pot is enough to make it profitable, particularly in these positions. I even think JJ is borderline for the above reasons - opponent is never doing this with TT, so its AK or OvP.
Thanks for the kind words about my ranges - you learn them easy enough after playing so many hours - I'm far from a solver lol.
I thought JJ and TT would be pure calls since this shove is going to be 90% AK. Assuming 100bb deep. I would want to take most 55/45 type edges I have and considering the ranges that UTG and mP are raising and cold calling with I would assume some Ace or King type hands are in the muck only increasing the edge with pairs. Just depends how high of a percentage it's actually AK compared to QQ / JJ hands.
3-40 T9cc on A52r -- that seems like 0 EV float, hands like T8,J8,97 mostly calling vs 25-30% size. Not even vs range bet strategy
I actually understand fold and cant blame anyone, but if we always fold all this threshold hand that would be a mistake decent one.
The T9c I would want a little more connectivity to make a straight. Closer to the ace or closer to the 5. As Gary mentioned having 76c would be more attractive or maybe some blockers to AX? QJc?
Hi, thanks for the nice vid.
Very interesting AKo vs AKo spot vs BBBets in the end of the video. What do you think your betting range turn looks like regarding bluffs ?
What do you expect CO's range to be like on the river once it calls a big Turn bet ? Watching the video it felt like a clear XC river but as I think more and more about it I'm not sure at all anymore what's best here.
Cheers
I don't think there's many natural bluffs on the turn, so I'd have to draw them from 99 with a club, or just random non club hands like KT/T9/A5, maybe some AJo with a club but that has showdown.
CO range on river: strong = 2pr+, weakest = AJo with club, some KQ.
I think river I can do anything with this hand. With my range it'll all depend on my combo and how that blocks/unblocks calling/folding ranges.

I don't think this call would be winning vs good regs who will barrel a lot. But vs players who are '1 and done' it will be better.
