One very simple heuristic that I have used, and it certainly may not be accurate, is that the higher the cbet frequency with a smaller size the less you get to barrel turn and vice versa due to your range being so wide. Does that hold true a fair bit?
Exactly! There is also a "trimming effect" in play when you cbet range or close to range: you get to the turn with your whole range, while your opponents get to fold the bottom part of their range and end up having the equity advantage--but not the nut advantage, as they're going to fastplay most of their nutted hands on the flop.
hey Francesco nice video. Noticed the sims you used to demo in the video are all A-high boards - would be really interesting to see some J high/T high boards where the flop sizings are all over the place and see how the turn play is affected.
