Very valuable! I have 2 questions;
If I would want to analyse my flop play, should I limit it to HU first?
What's the differences between hu and multiway flop play in your opinion?
I think HU pots are good starting point to learn the most important concepts.
In 4way pots we usually just bet for value unless we have a huge range advantage or very improtant blockers.
3 way pots are in between of HU and 4 way. I think that understaning HU pots will give you a very good background for playing 3way+ pots as well.
I would be interested to see some hands that you c/fold and had some equity. For example if i open utg ak89ss on 9tjcc with a pair, gutter and bdfd against aggressive button who will float our cbet close to 100% with various stuff i think its just better to give up or hope for free turn.
Also i think there are arguments for checking back more on tt6r board with qqtx type hand.Yes we need some protection, but we dont really want to get raised and against some opponents who are barreling 100% when we check there is more value in inducing bluffs.
Hey Boris! This is definitely interesting but also not the topic of this series. I am sure you can find a lot of examples like this in my previous videos and videos of my collegues from RIO as well. However this series was intended to show small differences between hands that we bet/fold and c/call. So I focused on examples where we have enough equity/FE and blockers to at least bet/fold
Thank you Leszek, I did learn a lot from your vids.
@14 Betting KTT4 with Top Pair and weak flushdraw on Ks7s5c is imo not a clear bet. It is one of those hands which really depend on villains style. I think the less villain raises and the wider villain calls ∼ [R5% C60% F35%] -> better to cbet (becomes more of a value bet). The more villain raises the tighter villain calls ∼ [R14% C40% F46%] -> better to check (too often we run to higher flushes, TPTK etc. while the folding range should not have more than 15% equity). Even vs a tight calling range [R5% C49% F46%] it seems to me that betting might not be good at all especially the tighter the preflop range should be.
Leszek Badurowicz Great video! Im just confused with this approach of cbetting OOP because everyone is now teaching to play more GTO based, and on non Ahigh boards we hace like 5% cbetting and most hands that you reccomend betting Monker says to XC or XR. Do you think is higher EV to approach this exploitaive gameplan or I am misunderstanding something? Ty very much!
I get so much more out of videos that present a solid train of poker logic and systematize it with a plethora of examples--such as this two-part series--than I do the more recent videos that explore solver strategies. I love solvers; they're interesting, but not nearly as satisfying or able to be internalized as sound human deduction.
Thank you for the series! I'm not transitioning but am rather adding HU PLO to my sessions, and this is a huge help!
Nice video again! Thanks for sharing this.
I have a question regarding the check/call with AQT6 on Kc7dJc from minute 36:25. I totally agree with the check call with our hand. However, if we change our A for the Ace of clubs, would it make sense to CBet then? We will be able to bluff on club turns, and we are able to hit the nut straight with a bigger pot.
Can this reasoning justify CBetting with the Ac?

i really like the non hud versions as i play alot of cash game
atm im playing with a bunch of loose passive players who love to bet pot almost for all bets
so basically they dont really do proper bet sizings
whats the best adjustment i can make against these guys?
