1. 7:30 , hot 44 , AKs @ BB 3bet against utg open 30BB eff.
I think the 3bet size is a bit small and always getting called since villain will call more than 4bet due to his stats 3x/1x(and if he 4bets we prolly not in a very good shape )
and we'll have a hard time to play this hand oop when we dont hit and sometimes have to c/f with best hand.
Do u think we can use alternative line to play this hand profitably? maybe simply rip in 30bb or just call or 3bet bigger?

OTF u said its a value bet (mid pair on T76hh), and OTT 5 hits the board and becomes more drawy, do u think we should still "vbet" again since so many hands we are ahead call still call again(FD,pair+SD)? we give up so much equity for free .
I think if we bet the flop then we should bet again on the turn and check back river .
Hi! I like making it slightly bigger with AKs there. Maybe 525-550, just cause he prob still peels and we get more value and less spr. Esp with his stats, well spotted.
@the A7 hand I feel like we can often get jammed on by hands that either beats us or has a lot of equity. things like 87, QT, A5hh, A4hh, 45s, etc etc + all his monsters (sets, straights, 2pair). So it seems more like we are the ones that will not realize equity more so than "give up so much equity for free". Unless you want to bet and call it off, but then we stack off against all his stronger hands. I wanted to just see a river and call it off/lose minimum against whatever beats us and call a bluff if the river bricks.
tt: 22 mins you sure about 3betting small here? We just jammed on the guy a few hands ago with a similarish stack. Plus it looks kinda weak to jam.
Jstock1211 years, 6 months agoGotta agree with Karl. Given the dynamics, I think a shove would look much weaker and bluffy. He might just flick his chips in with a somewhat wide range there.
I don't know how he will perceive it, but I think I tend to agree looking back. My goal was to give him a chance to jam hands he cant really call a shove with that we dominate. mainly small pairs and small aces
