Hi Espen,

The ICMIZER suggests to jam only 27% of hands from UTG with aroung 5bb. Does the ICMIZER take future game into account? (The guy has to post the bb next hand)

Espen Sørlie 11 years, 6 months ago

Nope, just whether the shove is +cEV or not. I don't think we should put too much into those "suggestions" tho. It is probably better to put in ranges yourself and see what it says then.

Your narration is flegmatic, slow and in general very difficult to follow. None of your comments are direct, clear and firm, everything is "sort of"- I bet you repeat this phrase more than 30times.

Your MTT poker knowledge is good and definitely worthwhile, but it's too inaccessible.

Please start talking like a man with some balls.

Haters gonna hate I guess. It's not always easy to say something is 100% the right play in mtts. Some times I don't know what the super optimal line is. Some times different lines can be the best one depending on factors we don't know. Who am I to say which one is the best then? I always say what I prefer, and I give my reasons for it. Nobody has said before that my narration is hard to follow, but it is my second language and Im doing my best.

I will take what you have said into account and try to be more clear in the future!

I'm really sorry that you think I was hating in comments on your narration. I've watched all 4 episodes so far and I find them very good in terms of technical details and your strategy advice. I really appreciate it, but I'm also convinced that - as an expert - you should be more self-confident, because you even hesitate to name 3bet with K2o "light"! Please accept my apology, I was too boorish.

great to see you using ICMizer in your spots!

Steppenwolf : can you show us how a man with "some balls" talks?
when you say some, is that more than two?

Hi,

Around 03:01, you said that a hand like K8 or 7T rather call than shove that flop. In a vacuum a agree on that, but i dont really see this in a 21 bb deep flatting range of a 14/8 player. In general it would be a (very) bad play to defend such hand from the blig blind I think. Do you agree on that?

Espen Sørlie 11 years, 6 months ago

I don't think it is a bad play to defend those necessarily. Do I think he would? With only a 66 hand sample I can't really tell. I had even less hands at the time, cuz this shows all the hands I have on him now.

Hi love the video. In 10.08 with A5s what are you thinking about just shove one guy is with 9bb the other with 17-19.I think with thi jam the second guy will fold allot of hands that shove on us.
