02:57 - 66, even though you're getting great odds here (we need 31.5% to break even) that also means that more often than not we lose here and go down to 12.5bigs. Against 77+,AQ+ we have 33% equity which is enough to make the call, but 67% of the time we lose and surely at a final table we should be looking to preserve our stack rather than risk losing it when we're way behind or flipping?
in general we would want to preserve our stack at finals, but I think in this environment it is not THAT big of a deal. Note that our position in the field remains the same even if we lose, with the exception of the guy we double but he passes us if we fold also. I do believe that it is very possible he has some other hands jamming there, I mean that range is just "perfect" against our hand and it is still a call cev wise!
36:23 - by shoving AQ BvB surely you're removing his opportunity to bluff 3b shove? I guess if you feel his 3b shove range is the same as his calling range to your shove then that's fine, although earlier on you talked about widening someone's range by raise/inducing rather than just shoving so I think I would raise/induce here.
I don't mind it. sort of a poor ish excuse is it weakens our jammingrange, but the main point is to some people minraising actually looks stronger than jamming and they will stick it in less to a min or just flat hands they would also call a shove with so we might lose value. Without knowing really what sort of player we are up against we can't say for sure and I can see any of the options potentially being best.
9:00 KJs how about ch/decide river ? it might be good spot for him to do some bluffs that, i understand the point that we had thin value from his Qx etc but there are still many air which after our ch/c ch ch he could bluff that river
I think that is a bit optimistic. In my opinion it looks like we are doing exactly that. We dont want to give him a chance to check back small kings, queens, JT and midpairs. Rly doubt he turns those into bluffs. About his total air, I think if he decided to bet to get us off midpairs and maybe JT I feel like betting turn for him gives him a better chance to do that rather than bet check bet
