I guess I could do that. You do get some of it from early in hh reviews and it is a bit hard to do live since I usually have loads of tables early on but I will see what I can do
could u do a live session with micro mtts? there is a lot of flatting there, where i make ton of mistakes. it would be nice to see how a good player react to that. Thanks and keep up the good work! i really enjoy your videos
I wonder about the AJ vs Q8s hand from his point of view. Its conceivable we could play AT and AK like that and he might get a river call from those but other than that I cannot really see worse hands calling him(we can play TT,99 and maybe KK like that but I think those hands are folding the river). And we have quite a lot of better hands than his in our range, and considering value of his remaining stack(icm value close to the FT) I think check behind is probably better... Thoughts?
Also what would be the bottom of your river valuebetting range in a A2s hand vs frenchfish? Im guessing something like QJ or even wider since its BvB vs competent and suspicious(and possible herocalling) villain?
Yeah I think I tend to agree looking back that value jamming Q8 is a bit wide. At the time it seemed standard, but it is going to be hard for him to get value from much worse + have many combos of better esp on that turn. Good point about conserving the stack also, 300k chips is def worth more to keep than winning an extra 300k for him when he has the best hand.
I am certainly vbetting QJ there and prob also slightly wider. I do want a c/c range also otr since loads of his floating flop combos picked up equity ott to float again (any clubs, any gutter +open enders) and I feel like not letting him bluff the river with those would be a mistake.
its' interesting to see how short you are willing to get before taking a probably -EV play to try to maintain some sort of stack with FE. (talking about the hot $44 turbo)
This may be a flaw in my thinking but when i get down to < 10bb's im desperately looking for spots to jam to avoid getting down into the 5bb territory where imo it's terribly hard to come back from.
i guess the 1 hand in particular i'm talking about is the A3o in the bb @ 35:50 with 6bb left after posting vs a utg 12bb jam. i'd assume he's jamming wide enough that i'd be willing to call it off here and try to get back to a reasonable stack. i ran it in sngwiz (chip equity not icm) and we'd be losing an ante on the call vs a 22.5% shoving range. maybe he's shoving tighter than i think or maybe it's just an old school way of thinking but i'd love to hear your thoughts on folding down vs gambling it up to maintain a stack.
also, realize that many players will prob have diff view points on this and that there's not necessarily a right or wrong way.
Your logic is that taking a -EV spot to be able to find more +ev spots in the future. I think it is the opposite here. By taking this -EV spot, we open ourselves to busting more than half the time and that takes away all our +EV spots in the future. This imo far outweighs the possibly more +ev spots we can find with 11bb contra 5bb.

Ship the green tag. :D
Will you make a video about early stages of tournament play? A lot of regs tend to make more mistake early because they arent so good deepstacked.

This is what I like seeing, late game tourney action.
