I loved Tonkaaaa's commentary, dude is sharp. I tilted for 10 minutes after you folded to his 8 million cbet tho. Great vid!

1:35, i think its a huge contradiction to fold 84s vs a min raise vs european then open k2o bvb vs him in the next hand. on the flop yoiure very worst queens (and with a bdfd!) seem like a good candidate to check the flop to help with balance.

3:20, despite the positions i dont think opening 97o bvb will be profitable vs a good opponent.

10.39 - wew wew wew how do we auto fold 9to vs the fish min raise???

I think the 88..8 bet on the KK9A9 board is a betsizing mistake in the sense that you would never type 8's alone in a betsizing if you were bluffing because you wouldn't want to draw any attention to your betsizing. This is probably why he folded the 9x.

SPrince 10 years, 3 months ago

I don't think the 8's matter as much as the overall sizing and he said he thinks betting smaller would be better but it does look slihtly value'ish.
Even still if £uro is defending close to 60-70%, he'll have all of the K4o+,K2s+ so 9x is not exactly top of his range and I think he folds it even vs 5mill bet vs polarized range, all though i agree betting smaller is slightly better.

hello, great series, i love your sh and fr game, but i really feel you miss a lot in hu game, i'll just point out few things i disagree on :
- snap folding A7o vs 3b (vs european), it's an easy call (or 4b if you don't feel like it)
- snaping overall (always consider something) because when you tank + have big sizing its so more likely you are value beting than when you are snap folding or betting quickly 1/4 pot (on the KKJ board you cb 1/4 pot, he calls, turn goes ch/ch and he bets and you fold), i don't know what he had, but i really think its very likely he floated oop
- snap foling Q6o vs minraise (with antes its an easy defend 25deep+)
- minraising/folding or calling 13deep is ok sometimes, but having a limping range is good as well
- not enough 3b 25 deep+ (too much towards value)
- playing too much your hands overall, not enough putting pressure in different spots
- A8 was a reshove or a call on his overbet (dont know what he had but pretty sure he lied you,) with DP+ he would consider taking max value and not taking such an overbet in a spot where you fold 95%+ of your range vs his line

anyway vgg, great run,

Thanks for commenting, I agree I didn't adjust well at all to the change from fullring to 3-2 handed. It is almost embarrassing to watch how many mistakes I made, but hopefully by the help of tonkaaaa's comments we can all learn a thing or two about it. The snapping thing too is a bit of a bad habit that might've been enhanced by it being late and me being pretty worn out. Not a good excuse though, it shouldn't happen, and when playing for this much money against such a strong opponent, attention to details becomes even more important.

The A8 before the deal is def a call and gii ott. Guy is so crazy good that he could def shove turn with some air/draw and we win the tourney so often. If he has a strong hand good for him, cooler imho if he has you beat if u gii ott in that hand.

gg! really nice series, i enjoyed every single part of this superb run of yours, but Tonkaaaa's commentary kinda stood up for me. I would love to see some kind of video from him, where he could explain things and strategies more wider.
Anyway gratz!
